i owned this phone for about two years and i cant stop thinking about it, i currently have it posted up in my living room at home i have owned about nine different cell phones and 6 of them were ericssons i usually only switch phones because i like to stay upgraded, when i thought i was upgrading from the s 710 i very quickly realized nothing else was out that could go head to head with this beautiful phone, since then i have been searching for ways to find this phone again but i keep hearing they dont make it or accessories for it any more.I cant even find a battery for my old one, point blank this is the best phone i have ever encountered and i think it should be brought back by popular demand.

This is the best phone ever made. There is no other phone that can compair to this one. It can with-stand anything you put it through. Wish they still made them. I Love It :)

Sony Ericsson is probably the best in designing phones. The S710 showed how far along Sony actually is in technology on a phone being one of the first to have an mp3 player. If you weren't extremely happy about this phone, I can guarantee you will like one of the next six phones they will be releasing. One phone will actually have a 3.2 megapixel camera which for the states is another breakthrough. It will also feature the Walkman which will play radio through the headset that acts like an antenna and of course it will feature the mp3 player. In addition it will also be an extremely slim phone which actually can compare with an Ipod nano. So for those who don't like big phones, you will be able to enjoy Ericsson's new fit. If you want a phone that you will be happy with for a long time, Sony is the way to go. Once you get used to the menu layout and everything it can actually do, you won't ever want anything but another Sony Ericsson.

umm...got it yesterday used. The camera is kinda cool, vid recording WITH sound, nice display. Fone is just big tho...but lighter than i thought it wud be.

I can recommend you the following:
1) highly recommended: sony ericsson k800
Im getting it for Christmas...it is incredible..Cybershot,3.2 MPxels,you can even actually try the phone through a simulator at www.sonyericsson.com .
2) recommended: samsung d900
3) for a bit of a lower budget along with high expectations (not higher than the k800 or the samsung d900): sony ericsson k750i.

i had this set...it is a kwel set havin a quick share....
but the only thing i dont like it is its goes to thick when we close the flip...over all its a good user frdnly set

I have had this phone for a good 2 years...I love it!!! Can withstand a pretty good beating. (I have never been gentle with my phones)...Now I am looking for a new phone~this one is getting old, any ideas? without losing anything?!?!?

great phone, i have had it 4 over a year n a half, but recently made a bad choice. i bought a 2 gig memory stick PRO duo from a friend n now realize it is not compatible. is there anyway of making this pro duo stick work out-even if i have 2 reduce it down to 128mb?

i had the s700i and it was for me the best fone. This one is more sophisticated so is even better. Sony fones are the bests.

I've had this phone since May of 2005 until recently I accidently soaked it in water. Overall I think it's a neat phone. But some cons about this phone is that sometimes it laggs when you're trying to get from one menu screen to another. Also there's really no flash on this cell but a really bright light that comes on when you want "flash". The battery power sucks thats for sure. The quality sound is GREAT though. Cell is more on the bulky side.
