to jimmy: try to use sony media go to transfer the videos to satio....thatīs the best way to do it so far, but if media go does not recognize the file try to use another conveter, convert the video into a format sopported by sony media go and then transfer the video to satio through sony media go.......maybe you wonīt have to do all that cause sony media go sopprts almost any type of format

Hi. Got Satio from just few hours and can say ... this is the best Symbian based mobile I've ever seen.Sony Cyber-Shoot with connection of Symbian OS make this phone a really nice multimedia toy. Of course nothing is perfect but for Symbian OS fans this will be definitely one of the best choices. regards

This is just my opinion but I think Sony ericsson should have spend a little more time on the Satio even though it took almost 18 months for them to release it, what I mean is they are starting to rush top end phones out like Xperia x2 and x10 and only leaves me thinking they might not pay Satio enough attention when it comes to software upgrades and various other issues the phone has at present.

The Satio is an amazing phone and loving it now even though it took 5 handsets to get one that almost works perfect.

Sorry if you dont agree but everyone is allowed an opinion and thats all it is

i try to convert a video to MPG-4 but when i try to copy to memory card, it said the file is not supported. anyone can help me out, please ?

Yes, my friend had to replace the phone because earpiece was faulty. So my suggestion is, wait a bit and maybe se can polish the software and also maybe change some faulty hardware. In 2010 Satio could work great:) I'm a fan of good cameraphones, but i'll stick with my N82 for a while. Maybe Satio will prove its worth and maybe this is my next phone, but not right now. It is a multimedia monster but has too many issues as it came on the shelves this month. Patience my friends! Regards!

Sony Ericsson guys forgot to include the basic thing in a mobile phone, like making a call with as easy as possible.
I purchased this phone today and not able to find how to make this phone vibration alert. even after changing the profile setting to Vibration on it doesnot vibrate.
The Worst part I notice was the worst sound quality. In a crowded place like Mumbai, I could hardly hear the ringtone even when set volume to the fullest. Also the cheap quality sound output for which SE is demanded the most was missing in the phone. A person looking for a good music phone, I strongly recommend not to waste money on this phone.
Lastly, the 12 MP camera also lacks a good Optical lens, like CARL ZIES, that captures not upto the mark pics. When pictures taken are zoomed look pixiliate.
Also, the Phone has only 128 Internal memory, out of which 50% of the memory is absorbed by the phone software & files.
Also, SE have shifted itself from using the Memory Stick Pro M2 to mini SD memory. The former had best performance in terms of reading & writing Media & stuff. And its a known fact that though the SD memory is universally accepted, but has poor performance when compared with Memory Stick Pro.

Finally overall, after a long wait SE Satio is not proved to be a good phone with such a hype.

its touch screen should be good
i heared about x 10
but i really need one now i cant w8 for x 10
so should i take satio or aino
and why?

am so happy to c905 to use but recent when i use my hand free what that handfree mobile with to listen music, dont know that am so facing in problem with when some one call to me that time i cant talk without handfree plz let me know whati do now?

Now on my 5th and dont want to jinx myself but seems much better and Microphones seems to be much better but still nothing like N95 for picking up sound but much better than previous model.
My delivery reports now appear to be working again also which I am happy about.
I also found on my latest model texting and general touch is better than last couple of phones as not having to press as heavy for response.

Only slight problem is that since 3pm yesterday its crashed twice and everything goes off and cant fix problem unless you take battery out and insert it again.

Below is the review I added a few days ago and hopefully help people who are still having some faults.



Does anyone have a Satio that works without any faults at all?

I am now looking into my 5th Satio and terrified to change it again incase even more problems pop up as currents problem i slightly minor but still enough to really annoy you knowing your paying x amount for 24months to have a phone thats just not 100% right.

I wrote this review yesterday so any feedback I will take and can handle if people dont agree, maybe I have just been unlucky.

My previous review below with problems on other 4 handsets

I am not making any of this up and getting to the embarrassing stage having to keep taking the phones back to the shop.

Over 400 seperate faults reported but again some could be down to the software Vodafone are loading this phone.

My 1st phone had a faulty speaker earpiece.

My 2nd phone frooze constantly and people were not getting my texts.

My 3rd phone was extremely slow and lagged to the point it was not usable.

My 4th one hardly picks up sounds when you record videos,for example when you have music at full volume you can barely hear it.
2nd fault- This seems to be either a Vodafone software issue or handset itself but delivery reports only work sometimes and not others and I have renewed the sim card in the last 7 days and still having this problem.

I so hope that my 5th phone is trouble free because the phone is probably the best phone I have ever had if I can get one that works.

FIRMWARE UPDATE IS ESSENTIAL AND URGENTLY REQUIRED TO RESOLVE LOTS OF ISSUES.
