sony ericsson has better presence in the middle east than in the Gulf region , , gulf people are so obcessed with nokia that they see nothing else..
i hope that sony ericsson will produce better range phones to attract more people next year
Arak, 29 Oct 2009i agree with you for all your comments but i dont agree that sony ericsson is not user friendl... moreYou're right. If you get used to SE, you would find it user-friendly, but this takes more time than getting used to Nokia and Samsung. And as I said, SE is a little bit more professional, and when you deal with SE you feel that it's more professional, and that's why many people say SE is the best. In fact, SE may be better than Nokia and Samsung in many areas - but not in photography and video recording - especially after Samsung introduced W880 (3X optical zoom cameraphone). On the hand, the idea that Nokia and Samsung are more user-friendly prevails not only in the Arabian Gulf, but rather in the whole Middle East and Europe.

I'll apologise if I seemed aggressive or anything like that, just proving a point.
To each his own then? You prefer the P12, I prefer the Satio. Lets leave it at that?
It's been interesting to see your opinion though.
Cheers for that.

Don't be so fanatic and agressive, be logic and learn to think and recognize the good things and bads. I said you should read what's between the lines. Moreover, the market confirmed GSM Arena review - Satio is far cheaper than P12 (I8910), and the price gap is widening.

Bash, 29 Oct 2009Yes, I own a Pixon 12 now, and I have an Innov8 and Omnia HD and tried an SE C905. In fact, I ... morei agree with you for all your comments but i dont agree that sony ericsson is not user friendly
in fact this is widespread idea in the arabian gulf that sony ericsson is not easy to use ,,, you are wrong , it is so easy , just you should get used to it , , in the arabian gulf evry one uses nokia and they know and are used to nokias menu , hence they have this mentality that nokia is easy and more user friendly ,,, in fact this is wrong , and sony ericsson menu is easy and very user friendly ,, just need people to get used to it ,,,

from where i can sale this phone in kuwait please any one tell me from where
Roshan J Thaliath, 28 Oct 2009Do u own any of these phone by any chance ?Yes, I own a Pixon 12 now, and I have an Innov8 and Omnia HD and tried an SE C905. In fact, I have tried a lot brands like: SE, Samsung, Nokia, Motoralla, HTC (especially X7500). I found out that there is no 'perfect' cellphone for everything. Nokia and Samsung are user-friendly, SE is not. But, it's more professional in other areas like still-photo taking but SE is not good at video recording like Nokia and Samsung - especially Omnia HD. However, SE always gives you a professional feeling in general as it's not a very user-friendly phone. On the other hand, you may find HTC good at internet, email and Mobile Office apps. like Word and Excel. In the Arabian Gulf area, you can enjoy testing and trying many brands and see which is better for a specific need. SE, for example, can fulfill certain needs that Nokia, HTC and Samsung cannot.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970my dear
i agree with you , but i dont agree with the language that you have used.
i agree that sony ericsson phones are ahead in design and construction
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS BELOW?
I just found this review from another website which is starting to prove my point but got a feeling its whatever software Vodafone are loading the thing with.
Review Posted October 2009
urgently requires acknowledgement and a fix
Now on my second Satio and the ringer and sound from media player still switch off randomly resulting in dropped calls. Microphone recording level is abysmally low and recording playback at full volume is barely audible.
Sony Ericsson and Vodafone say they haven't logged many complaints about this - but with 2 phones failing immediately, there is obviously an early software / design glitch with this model (at least versions with Vodafone software) which urgently requires acknowledgement and a fix.
for the i.d.i.o.t.s who are complaining about Equalizer settings and sound quality in headphones...plz go n download LCG Jukebox by Lonely Cat Games...it has all kinds of equalizer settings...you wud love it...and i got the HPM-77 headphones with my phone and they sound great and have 3.5mm jack converter inbuilt...
Im currently staying in South Africa & Im going through all the Cell phone shop & I cant find it can someone help me on this
BST-33 batteries are nominally 900 mAh .http://www.intomobile.com/2009...350-mah.html
some people here bash sony ericsson products as if they have owned many and failed
myself proudly i say that i have now 26 sony ericsson mobile phones. i only purchased their high end and mid range phones ,,, let me tell you that in very few times the pohones have really failed me ,,, myself i use almost every feature of each phone and in very rare cases i found problems with the phones.
proudly i can say that sony ericsson are the best phones that i have till date , and they are made to last for couple of years of normal and proper use ..
i confese that lately i had some mechanical problems with my C905 but the dealer fixed it with no cost and its working fine now.
as for today situation , the range of high end products of sony ericsson has even better quality build than before ,, i have the Aino now and i can say that the mechanism is state of art and the menu is perfect with a very good screen , and i have tried the satio too ,, noth aino and satio are well built and the finishes are so attractive and well coordinated .
if you consider the technological side of it , ok wwe can say that they lack some features but this does not stop them to be good phones ..
to be honest that the technological advancs will never stop and we shall always see new thin gs coming to the market like the new bluetooth ver3 and the new wi fi system and better miroprocessors and camera modules and even better batteries and higher capacity memory cards. . ok the question is , as a normal user how much money we have to spend yearly in order to catch up with the new technological advances ?
and the other quoestion , how many people on the planet are realy aware and realy considering these new non stop technological advances??
some years ago computers and lap tops were in a such rush advance speed that there was a time that we did not know if we have to wait till a better models comes to light ,, the same thing is happening to the mobiles , so in a way we are stuck .
here we are only discussing the products and giving opinions , but how many of us will purchase at least 4 mobiles per year to be in line with the technological advances periodically , i think only 1 or 2 persons here ,,, many of you are only wondering in the crowed with big words to bash or support the product without even touching it or seeing it , some of you only rely on the reviews that are made by some sites and you rely your discussion on it
i respexct the people only who have the phone and on daily basis are intracted with it , otherwise all these comments will be baseless.
mysels i will say to sony ericsson , you have done a good job so far only you need to target and find out the soft points in this competitive market so you can endure and as some people say to rule ...
