Anonymous, 25 Sep 2009hmmm who needs a 14mp camera !!! SE should concentrate more in products that they sells more (... moreAbout Motorola: They are going down even eith theit Linux phones, now they started with Google Android, but that will not help them, I wrote on the Dext phone, what Moto need to survive, read it plz, maybe will be deleted. Those infos, what you wrote about X10, and the others, are true at least? Or only rumors? I know something interesting, I wrote it before, it's about Sony gave to SE their 2008, and 2009 Walkman plan, so this mean the Walkman phones are NOT dead, and we will see 32Gb, and even 64Gb phones from them(maybe next year), coz Sony has 32Gb and 64Gb int. memory Walkman players. The first Walkman device could be announced on Q1 2010! What I said is NOT a rumor, it is from Sony.jp! :) Now I will tell you another interesting thing, the C series are NOT dead too! Probably SE will announce their first optical zoom phone, or maybe they will announce phones with CCD sensor! We will see what will happen. SE need to produce more smartphones(midrange, and high-end phones) The midrange smartphones could be the G series, and the high-end segment the Entertainment Unlimited, and the Xperia phones(and maybe Walkan phones). Next year I hope SE will announce at least 2 great smartphones at Mobile World Congress, if they will make foolishness, I will abandon SE, and I will choose Sharp, when they will arrive to Europe. :)
Mobilemaster, 25 Sep 2009Buy it, but the price will be very high. It is a great device. I think the Satio II will have ... morehmmm who needs a 14mp camera !!! SE should concentrate more in products that they sells more (mid-end touchscreens like nokia xm 5800) and should offer more phones like Iphone but with cheaper price for kids (important is to make profit :D) and some phones like SE X2, with qwerty but with mid-end features and Android OS (similar to Motorola dext) and that would sell just like a hotdog :p and finally they should make about 2 very high-end phones one of them full touch candybar (without keypad) with Android 2.0 and 1ghz Snapdragon CPU and 32GB internal and 3.7" capacitive AMOLED touchsreen with multitouch, and HD games something similar to PSP (to rival Iphone), the other high-end phone should be destined for business, it should be called SE X10 with: WM 7.0, 32gb, 1ghz OMAP4, 512RAM , 3.7" AMOLED capacitive with multitouch
so we need: MORE MID-END TOUCHSCREEN PHONES, AND 1-2 VERY VERY HIGH-END PHONES
Sony Ericsson Rocks, 25 Sep 2009You guys can whinge and moan all you like, i am not interested in your unjustified comments. ... moreBuy it, but the price will be very high. It is a great device. This will probably be my first ever Sony Ericsson phone. I've always kinda liked them, but I've never really wanted one until now. I was going to get the Innov8, but went with the Blackberry 8900 instead thinking its 3mp would be on par with my old D900's (that was a mistake). This phone truly is superior to pretty much everything out there. I really do like everything about this device.
You guys can whinge and moan all you like, i am not interested in your unjustified comments.
I WILL BUY THIS PHONE when it is released.
Sony Ericsson Rocks!
SONY ERICSSON EQUINOX COMETH news at http://www.tmonews.com/2009/09...inox-cometh/ :
For those of you who still have yet to jump on the Blackberry, Android, and WinMo ship phones, others phones do still exist. Case in point, the new Sony Ericsson Equinox that boasts a 3.2 megapixel camera and (GASP!) picture messaging! Take that iPhone owners, beat you by 3 days! We had an inkling of this phones arrival at T-mobile all the way back in early May but the powers that be have decided an October launch is the perfect time to unveil this Sony Ericsson goody. Sadly, this is just another middle of the road flip phone for T-mobile and its renewed agreement with SE and I’m beginning to think that may be all we will see out of the deal. Sony Ericsson makes some high end, quality devices and when are they coming to T-mobile shores? The CS8, which was canceled or shelved and yet AT&T delivered the very same phone. Tmo, whats up? Can’t a dude get an Xperia running Android up in this here?
only 10 more days for Satio to come out !!!
Anonymous, 24 Sep 2009SE fans are so funny going on about how much better this phone is than the n97, omnia hd etc w... moreoh please.. 12 mp camera with a powerful ARM Cortex A8 processor and a strong battery is so not outdated. It also has Open GL 2.0 support. It may have took time to release, but bt least it wouldn't have many problems like those other phones. Maybe your phone is even a stone age one.
nick, 25 Sep 2009mate, they are all just figures. normally, sony ericssons last longer because they do less. ... moreLi-po is better...that is why Nokia uses them on their E-series which is known to last longer.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970mate, they are all just figures. normally, sony ericssons last longer because they do less.
im not saying that is the case here though.
i'm just telling you for a fact, li-po batteries are not some super dooper new technology which has increased battery life for the better, it's just an alternative which happens to be lighter than lithium ion batteries.
theyre both based on the same chemicals anyway, li-po is just lighter!
