See Nokia is looseing money just like everyone else, they cant afford outsourceing. So since they cant afford it they cut money going to other companys, which in turn causes people to lose there jobs. Nokia is just trying to make themselves look good while making everybody else look bad.

According to Samsung, cutting outsourcing is a bad idea;

LG and HTC seems to agree;

> In reply to Anonymous @ from HHHH - click to readThat is propaganda, a big lie. Nokia is outsourcing too. Nokia announced that it is taking back outsourcing and production will be done "insource". This is not hard to find out... just google it.

> In reply to Anonymous @ from HHHH - click to readHey! My golly, you do not understand outsourcing. Nokia outsource 17% to Foxconn International Holdings, BYD, Elcoteq and Jabil Circuit.

Outsourcing is a global practice and nothing to be ashamed about. According to Lucent, outsourcing some development makes sense so that its engineers can concentrate on next-generation technologies. "This frees up talent to work on new product lines,".

If you don't outsource, you do not grow.

> In reply to Anonymous @ from HHHH - click to readPerfectly right... outsourcing to OEMs is common nowadays. Those who don't understand this concept are out of this world.

SE outsource probably 80-90 percent of its production.

The 70% is very conservative estimate.

Yes, you do not!

Most fans do - that is the reason they not accept the fact that most SE phone is made by not SE!

I also do: :) people would not buy a Ferrari if it is made in a Fiat factory or a Porsche if it is made in a VW factory.

BTW: Samsung and Nokia do not outsource manufacturing (or minimal)!!!!

Some do better with a keyboard, some better with a touchscreen. You will make mistakes on both when typing, so again it depends on what you like.

is this really easy to use than a hardware keypad phone? think for a moment and be honest to yourself before you answer. hardware keypad seems way faster and easier to use.

> In reply to Anonymous @ from HHHH - click to readIt is , for example, if the belt on your car breaks, you take it to someone that knows how to fix it. If you watch , you will know how to do it next time it happens. You learn something, and could save you money, this is the smart thing to do.
That is what is happening when you outsource, you learn from other people Which is the smart thing to do. Also it could be cheaper for the company to do it that way.
It just blows my mind that people dont think about things like this before they speak. Maybe that is why they spend so much time complaining, and posting useless post on here.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-05-25 15:48 from mstL - click to readAs an SE fan, I have been aware that Sagem have been making low-end phones for SE and low-end phones only but what makes this complicated is the fact that you tell out loud that Sagem makes phone for SE even though people out here are talking about a phone made in Japan. Here's the thing, if you really want to inform people about Sagem making phones for SE, I think it is better if you post in the j series forums or in the t250 forums.

As far as there Customer Service, why not give them a call and find out? That will be the only way to answer that question for you.

> In reply to Anonymous @ from HHHH - click to readwhy dont you understand that thats just a cooperation and nothing more, and that cooperation will include only low-end phones. read the news again if you dont understand it. so SE Idou and SE X5 doesnt have to do nothing with that, in fact they will be made in Japan not in other countries like it happen before
SE ROCKS

> In reply to Direwolf_65 @ 2009-05-25 15:50 from 4FdR - click to readthat has never happend because SE never said anything about that. and as you can see that could happend only for low-end phones not for kings such are Idou and X1. Mobinova is the only partner of SE for the moment and that only for WM phones
