Accuracy

## Resistive touchscreen ##
Accurate to at least display pixel resolution,
as can be seen when drawing (or writing characters) with a stylus.

Useful for handwriting recognition and interfaces with smaller control elements.

## Capacitive touchscreen ##
Accurate to within a few pixels, in theory,
but seriously limited by the physical size of your fingertips,

which make it hard to accurately press any control element or select something on screen that's smaller than 1cm2.

> In reply to nick @ 2009-05-17 13:10 from nxwU - click to readFirst off, like what i said before, capacitive touch and resistive touch both have their pros and cons. If you get a resistive touch, it will be more robust and you can use a stylus or glove to activate it. Capacitive, on the other hand, although very responsive, will be exposed to the danger of being smashed into pieces or crack upon contact. I was planning to buy the iphone before but after i saw what happened to my friend's iphone, i immediatly annihilate my thought of getting it as i must admit, i not that the type of extremely careful person. And as you can see on the idou, it's resistive touch response can compete with the response from a capacitive touch though a capacitive display from the idou is also very much welcomed.

Secondly, regarding video quality, like what you said in the past past post, bigger resolution doesn't ensure better quality. If idou's D1 can portray outstanding playback quality, then i think people will opt for the idou.

Thirdly, regarding your father's occupation. Good to hear that he's doing fine. Help me send my regards to him. ^.^

Fourth. Although idou don't have a 3.5mm jack, but it comes with a bluetooth headphone which they claim are better than the hpm-77. So i guess it really doesn't matter.

Lastly, i specially dedicate this to anonymous from 3lx or jjr. You are really a total piece of garbage. Sony don't have led tv? You better google it before quoting your ludicrous statement. You are really dumb to the root and i find it irritating to even scold you. It seems you are already beyond cure so i guess that's that as some people like you are borned stupid. If sony is a looser, then you are a total looser. If idou is a garbage, then you are a garbage which is isolated from all the other garbages. How pitiful! To be discarded by your own community. :)

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-05-17 13:23 from mD6k - click to readno, you think resistive is better because the idou uses it

if the idou used a capacative touchscreen, you'd say that is better

having used both, capacative touch screens are much much better.
