i am using NOKIA 2100 it is nice set.i like nokia software.it is user friendly.
now i am going to buy SE T290i.do anyone tell me which is better in T230 & T290i.
& why SE software is toooooo slow.
IS IT GOOD CHOICE ???????????????

the price for t 290 is 3900 in pakistan also
the t290i is for 4700

I think that an inferior phone is packed in a beautiful body to attract the customers. But If ur really short of budget than i think that your very last option should be this one.

just got the phone for rs 3900/- in india and for the price its a steal. with speakerphone cant expect a lot from a phone thats so cheap but yes its an upgrade of the t230 so what if its just a slight upgrade. worth your money

Hi guys, i had T230. (Great Phone !!) But he was pritty slow working with it, i mean the menu and stuff, is that alsoo by T290 ??? Or did they made any changes as a new version ??
I mean T290 must have something better then T230 come oonn its a jonger version they did'nt made him 4 nothing right?

This is a great phone.
memory is 1 MB not 400 kb

this phone is good but not betterthan from t230 , t230 memory is mb ,but t290 400 kb ,if any budy is buying this phone so dont buy it ,because t230 is the best phone ,mind it

compared with nokia 7210 with same 4096 picture quality, this unit is nothing same with t230. it has a course dot pitch, why those SE doesn't see this? i bet! you can see the big difference, even the display is smaller as long as the pitch is smaller it will always give you a finer image. then it should be also measure in dotpitch, what a fool!
