the SE T310 was the 2nd phone i used and i really enjoyed it.it fell from the top of a marble stair case all the way down and nothing happened to it.the battery only removed.dont use it for more than 18 months!

I got one of these in 2003. I subjected it to some harsh treatment and it never let me down. When I bought it I was working at a Silo and the joystick got clogged up with Barley dust. Had it serviced and it went on to provide 2 years service, before I gave it to a friend. As far as I know, it is still going strong. The only complaint I had was that there was no Blutooth, but not many phones had it back then anyway.

I bought this phone the first week it came out and this was my first colored phone. I loved it then and I still love it now since I still have this in good working condition but I already gave this to my dad. YOu gotta love the themes you can download but it is hard to find games for this phone. Good build quality from SE.

OK cell-phone. Nice to write smsīs on! And a fun miniature-golf game also. Standard cellie.

I am still using this phone now. No problem. It still does what it is designed for: phone and text. It survived several drops and still looks very fashionable :-).

can not perform outgoing call with my phone though i am getting incoming call - can anybody solve this problem

I've had this phone since June 2003. It's got good performance and really sturdy. I've dropped it several times at different hieghts. It's still the phone I use, but I'll be buying a new phone soon; mine's gonna give anytime, I've been really careless with this one and will make it a point to be careful with the one I'll buy. So, if you need a temporary phone for call and text purposes, then this one's really goood.

lol,this was the first phone that I had. I remember the guy in the store telling me I could get a camera from him to click it into the bottom of the phone for free. but he told me it was worth about a hundred euro's so I was very happy about it. when I saw the quality of the camera,i sold it instantly to a nitwit for about 50 bucks,lol. this thing was horrible with the joystick,stopped working properly after about a year. have had a samsung E720,E900,P310,nokia 6233 and SOE K550i after this one all with integrated camera,and far better quality pictures then this :P.

what a phone! i am having it for the last 4 years and it works. A mobile phone for talking not for extra features like camera and other stuff. Enjoy with what you have and be happy about it. That's all.

one of the problems that a sony ericsson have is the signal.. whatever is ur network, you will surely regret buying this fone.. i promise!

I have this phone since 2003, and it still works perfectly. This phone is great. when I first bought it was like ``omg colour screen, poly melodies`` and now it`s just ``u still have that old phone? buy new one``.
but they don`t understand the LOVE. and this is the best phone in the whole wide world, after my first phone, ericsson GA628s, back in `97

wow this fone has got a lot of pros and cons. actually itb was my first fone it served its purpose but wit time it began 2 develop some fault. the battery didnt last long anymore, the phone isnt loud u hardly hear it when it rings, when u change sim cards all ur text messages are erased but all in all , the fone is okay cant be compared to the models Ericsson has now but its ok. Can someone advice me on what fone to get I need a phione with large Memory capacity,which could double as an MP3 player and as a phone. I'll be expectin a reply.

I cannot say how much I love this phone!! I feel people who have written bad words about this phone have not actually used it!! In one of the comments, the reader mentioned about Bad Design and Very Few Features.. My Dear Friend, pls do not compare this phone with today's models!! I have been using this phone for last 4 years now and I am still not ready to trade it off for a newer model.. I love it soooooooo much.. After 4 years the only problem that I am facing now is that the joystick has become "little" unresponsive but then what else do u expect after so many years!! :) To me, it was VALUE FOR MONEY..

it stinks ,the camera sucks ;the infared port cracks too quickly.In other words i hate it i really do. Get a nokia 3120 instead

i think the phone is quite impressive but one thing i thing could have been done well is making downloaded music as ring tones as well.i downloaded a ringtone from a friend's phone only to realise that i couldnt assign it as ringtone.also i think normal user interface programming uses C button to navigate back but in this case the C button is deleting as well and it is not really the best......but since i am a J2ME developer i will like to contrubute in future realeses of SONY ERICSSON phones.THANKS
