i don't even think that it's low QCIF resolution will prevent users from buying this phone. and i dont even think that all people will always make videos from their phone instead taking pictures. qcif resolution won't prevent glamoured buyers to stare and choose the fascinating design and quality imaging of this gorgeous piece. the poor video is just a very bitter reason to avoid this=D

Regarding the video res comment... it only has QCIF video capture. :-(

But regarding SE not moving with the times, they actually went backwards. Some of you may recall the W900i could capture CIF resolution videos at 30 fps! This phone was launched back in 2005, and since the K800i all the SE phones have only done QCIF (except the P990i).

What do you mean with not a hi-end Cyber-shot? I think this one will take really good pictures but the led-lamp is anyway good to use as a torch that is a big advantage !!

I have already tested this phone. Buttons are comfotable to use. Display is big enough. It has led flash, not Xenon, but it's not a hi-end Cyber-shot, so that is ok.

Well...good development. But i hope to confirm this once i get feedback on its video capture capabilities. We are tired of the same old 176x144 qcif capture by all SE phones. Other brands keep upgrading but SE doesnt. The worst thing is that its always 3GP which aint very good.

Sony Ericsson's advantage over the consumer's interest was the sheer small size with still powerful features(i.e. walkman 2.0 and 3mp camera) in which nokia hardly makes one for us because of the over features. nokia's slimmest phone yet are the 2630 and 6300 which when compared to W880, feature wise they lose while SE has W880 and T630 with bristling walkman 2.0 and 3.2mp camera. i wonder if nokia can make a phone similarly sized of either the two SE phones with PAR or better feature-o-size ratio.
