Had this phone a year and it is quite possibly worst phone ever!
- keeps turning itself off for no reason (there's mention below of a firmware update - can I do this myself?)
- predictive text doesn't recognise simple words (and isn't receptive to changes and edits)
- phone keeps 'losing' the memory card and so I have to shutdown and reinsert it.
- texting: can't send to multiple recipients
- texting: if you select the wrong recipient you can't change to another. Only way round is to copy & paste body text into new SMS. Crazy!
Give me a Nokia anyday. If I could find a way to stop it shutting down then maybe I could live with it...

I have this phone for almost 1 year. Reliable phone. Takes relatively good photos (distance up to 10m gives the best shots). Sound quality in music player could be better ( too much treble in it).
If using T9, it can be a real torture in the beginning to use it with the greek alphabet.

quite good mobile for the money i paided for.
i bought it with a 1GB m2 card, and its really good spend money
i came off off a vodafone v710, before i had severall SE's and always were fast and reliable.
same with this V630, its fast in the menu. and if you got a hang on it the multitasking can be so fast.
the sound is also good compared with my vodafone v710
camera is a lot better.
and the design is alot stronger
all overall a 8.5 i think, am added camera cover and autofocus should make a 9 i think

The thing about recording calls is very commune. I have a t610 and it has the same problem...Can't wait to get this phone

Have had this phone for almost a year now. The issue with it turning itself off is common, but took it to store where I bought it and they sent it back to SE. SE did some kind of firmware update on it and it has worked like a dream since. Love the phone and features.

it's avery good phone,i'm very satisfied with it. BUT it has a problem recording calls sometimes by giving the impresion that it has a mini bottle of Jack D instead of a battery.:D

u can turn off the 3g by this step
1- go to setings
2-conectivity
3-mobile networks
4-gsm/3g network then
u should take the gsm by chosing it from gsm only

i dont´t know.
i had this phone only one week, i hate it!
the camera is very bad. you can only zoom, when it is on VGA or 1MP.. it has too much internet-things... thats a problem...
the software is bad... it sucks

Got this phone for xmas but the battery just keeps draining for no apparent reason. The 3G Symbol is on how do i turn this off. Please help befor i give it back.

i've been using this phone for just over a month now, and i like it very much. i only have some troubles with it crashing every now and then.. one time i was playing the WTA tennis game while listening to music, the phone shut off because the battery was drained (which is normal) but after charging the phone and starting it again, all my games and themes were somehow deleted!
every now and then when i move through the menus too fast it hangs, to restart it i need to remove the battery and put it back again.
