hey y'all olks out there! problem with your signal? whether your signal is dropping to zero as you closes the cover or any other problem about your signal. it's just about the ANTENA WIRE, it must have been broken, this one's very sensitive and brokes easily as you flip it close and open. you must replace it so you can have better reception. hope this helps.

Hi there. Does anybody knows how to solve my problem. I just plug in 1GB SD card. And its kinda written ''memory card is not formated''. So Im opening settings and there is written that formating function is currently unavailable. Please help me :)

hmm... does sony ericsson V800 can't remove the sound when your taking picture??>>.. it's so Loud and it's really obvious that your taking picture...hehe

Hi I just got this cool phone and it has a problem with my sim... it sometimes say "INACTIVE SIM" then suddenly reboots itself which is annoying. i tried to check wether my sim was deactivated but it works fine with my razr. pls help tanks!

It's a good phone. Mine was stolen recently. The phone get very slow when it access external memory. I had it with a sony memory stick pro-duo high speed 512MB but still it takes about 15 seconds to save a picture after taken with the camera and the camera sound cannot be turned off. http://myv800.lasyk.net/

I have problems with its signal reception. It drops its signals too frequently.And also its signal reception is not good.If any one knows that how to solve this problem then please email me.

I like the phone and all but HOW DO I INSTALL Z800 SOFTWARe in it? i downloaded the program from the kink in page 4. then when im installing it says the program is not supported by microsoft so it becuase it is not compatible with XP? also when i get to the part where it says turn off your phone take sim card out? and then put in base what am i supposed to do i don;t have a base but a usb cable only and that's where im stuck nothing happens when im on that page? HELP ME PLS>> SPHINX912@hotmail.com otherwise someone buy this phone....

I've a problem with the camera too. Exit after the first photo taken and the camera is so slow that it cant keep up even with the slightest movement. Can anyone send me the solution through my e-mail? Thanks!

hi just got the phone. everything's great but im having problems with the camera. after i take 1 picture it automatically exits. and the camera has very slow response and cannot keep up with even the slightest movement. is it the software? please do respond. thank you..

Hi,
Not sure if you received help already but try this link, it worked for me....

Download the DRM Packager 1.35 for your operating system.
Unzip and Install.
Open Sony "Ericson DRM Packager"
Click "Add"
Select file to "convert" (i'm assuming it's an mp3 file)
Click "Create DRM Content"
It will create a folder called "DRM" - open it.
It would have created a file of type:- "Forward-locked or Combined delivery content file"
Send this file to your phone....

i am very enthusiastic about this phone,but i have a problem.i cannot use the melodies as rigtones because it says they are not key-protected or something like this.if i want to use a melodie as ringtone the option is not highlighted,thehefore i can't do it.Please help me if u can.Thanks

i think the drm is the protection files of the music. Like the asf and asx. it has a drm protection. whats the main difference of having an upgraded v800 to z800 than the original z800?! my brother told me that even if you upgraded the firmware still you cant use the mp3 as a riinging tone. he had 3 of this v800 upgraded firmware to z800. about the signal, he just fixed it by buying an antenna wire and replacing it. hope it helps!
