This program is designed and recommended for those who know alot about phone (especially) menu protocals, since the software is a wee bit complicated to use... To those who use this software, it will give you hours of fun while designing your very own theme~! NOTE THAT THIS IS A FREEWARE SOFTWARE AND IS COMPATIBLE WITH ALL SONY ERICSSON PHONES THAT SUPPORT THEME USE
Also, the W200 comes with a data cable, but may depend on the country you are residing in...
Might I add that Sony Ericsson should release a new firmware for W200 so that some bugs can be fixed....?

I have this phone and it is really good but i wish new software will have bluetooth, 2mp camera with rich settings and 262k tft screen. any ideas where to get flash themes, pictures and short songs and what website is that as i need it as possible. I have 1gb memory card inside so i have over 600mb left after storing 160 songs and some pictures. if anyone complain about it then they have big problems and please use it urgently then no problems. it is still working well and i will keep it for years. it is a good budget walkman phone. Rock on w200i!!! i will tell u more about it.

This phone is really good but can anybody tell me where to get themes, bluetooth, 262k tft screen and 2mp camera as i need it urgently. it has all a budget person can get and post u more as possible.

Just reporting another bug that Sony Ericsson could fix to make this phone perfect.....
I noted that the reminders turn on the phone automatically to remind me of Tasks that I have saved on the phone... But seems that, although it brought up the correct task, it brought up another task that was not due for another 6 months...>< I checked the phone's calendar and the task is supposed to alert me in six months (not today)...
The tasks seem to be moved around like the W550, even though they are allocated to the corect dates the phone reminds us on the wrong day....
This is the first bug of this type with the W200 I think... Though I had quite a few bugs with W200 that I think SE can fix with one update...
Other than that, W200 is a cheap and good performer...
Finally, can someone tell me (preferably the phone sellers/repairers), do you know whether it is possible to take out the UBC screen from the W200 and replace it with a 256k 128*160 TFT LCD screen that is from (for example) K510? If possible, I would get mine changed immediately...

the ppl who say that this phone is not good are fool becoz the (SE) has included all the features except (bluetooth) in very low price if u will compare this phone with the same price of nokia phones they have only the feature of(kamera)and (fm) like (5070) i love It thank u (SE)and the persons who say that dont buy that i think they r NOKIA FANS.

For the people who think that the earphone volume level is too low... GET YOUR EARS CHECKED~! Although I am no doctor, I know what sort of volumes music player listeners use when they listen to music; outragously dangerous and harmful volumes! If you think that this phone is too quiet, GET TO A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY~!

Neither CSTN or UBC screens are good. TFT is currently the best in terms of screens in electronic devices at the moment...
But, in terms of which is better, they are basically the same, but the UBC technology is more recent than the classic CSTN... Quality is the same (or similar), so I can't say which is better... Sorry if this doesn't help you...
I have reason to believe that you are considering the K300, K310 or K320 (which have CSTN / UBC screens)... I suggest go for the W200... Better features with expandable memory.

The phone is not as good as i expected it to be.
Weaknesses:
- Signal strength is not that strong.
- Mp3 headphone volume not loud enough
- The ringtone volume as most ppl said is definetely low even at volume 8.
- Battery doesnt last long as they say it does.
- Joystick feels rough on the fingers after a few hours of use.
- Keypad feels cramped.
Strengths:
- Nice outward design
- Light weight
- 3.5 stereo jack adapter provided with phone
- Expandable Memory
- USB drive functionality
- USB charging

I think this phone is an excellent option for the W Series. It makes it possible for ppl on a tight budget to still have a walkman phone.
U cant really complain about the screen or camera quality cos after all Sony erricson offers it and a lower price for this particular reason. If the screen and camera is a problem, spend more and go for a w300 clam shell phone.
I am gonna purchase this phone within this week.
Hope it kicks a$$!
