Sony Ericsson is a real good, cheap and light-weight phone! But it has to be to some upgrades. First of all, Bluetooth is important. Because some mobile like N70 are not having Infrared and we wont be able to send files. Secondly, the camera should have 1 more pixel, i.e, 1.3 M.P. Thirdly, very less games and applications can be installed! This mobile is ultra-cool, but when we think of it's function,

Sound in the Mega Bass is AWESOME.
The build quality is good too.

can it is possible 2 select backup memory of phone to memory card.. coz i am using 6600 & i want 2 upgrate 2 this phone..

If it had a 1.3mb camera, a high resolution display and bluetooth, it wont be as cheap anymore. This is a great music phone for its price.

Sony Ericsson W200i is a rocking phone with bass reflex ear phones which will give you a pleasant sound without losing fidelty even at maximum bass. But the drawbacks are screen with low resolution which could be read hardly in sun light, lack of bluetooth, low standard camera (0.3MP). If you are a music freak, this phone is perfectly cool. I think it would be better if SE has upgraded the phone with 262k or 16m resolution screen with bluetooth and camera of atleast 1.3Mp. Any way this phone is pretty cool with out standing sound and walkman features.

At least by default, it stores the recordings into the MemoryStick card (and, either way, furthermore, you can move the file around easily).

Has anyone successfully managed to get a 2GB M2 card working with this phone? The official site says that only upto 1GB is supported... Can somebody tell me whether the 2GB M2 will work with this phone?

Just wondering... does a walkman phone like W200 means I can turn it off on the plane and still listen to mp3? Just wanna make sure I'm right on this. Thanks.

I lost my W550i about 4 months ago - oh woe is me. It took me this long to buy a new phone and it's the W200. A mini of the one I had but I'm happy. I just love the SE walkman - that base is fantastic. Even the toggle only took me a few minutes to get the hang of and it's SO much faster working my way through the menus than pressing an arrow. The radio is great too - to think I didn't even realise I had that option on my other phone - duh!! Thanks Sony Ericsson for another great product. I'm very happy - and that's saying something since I had the Very Best only a few months ago! *sigh* lol....

I bought the W200a a couple days ago after parting with my K510a. My two disappointments with the W200 are that there's no bluetooth (but its not so bad for me since most of my friends have SE's so we just use infrared instead), and the camera quality. Since the W200 and K510 use the same chassis, I think it should be easy for SE to have included bluetooth and the K510's 1.3MP camera. Oh well, I guess they had to leave something out to make it different (and cheaper) to the pricier Walkman phones.

I think this will be a great upgrade from my good old K310.
But I have one question about memory usage.
Does the "voice recorder" can make use of the Micro memory card or is it limited to the phone's internal 27mb ? I use the phone for recording classes and memory is very important.
Also the same question for video recording...
