I just got the phone today and it's good BUT it has some bad things:
1 The speaker is VERY quiet
2 No Megabass feature
3 The menu is kinda lagging and is slow
4 The front is NOT from metal-its just plastic!!!
5 You can't add custom themes

it good to purchase

SE is a bit slow with attaching EDGE facility to their phones... i don't know why. where nokia introduced edge class 32 and SE is only with class 10...why?

how can i get themes for sony ericsson w302?

During connect after it says
Testing COM 3 - Sony Ericsson Mobile device
after which a window opens saying the foll tips

• Take the battery out of your phone for 2 minutes
• Restart your computer
• If you use Bluetooth: Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the "Serial Port" service is activated in your Bluetooth software
• If you use a USB cable: If a new menu appears when you connect your phone, then select "Phone mode" and NOT "File transfer"!
• If you use USB-cable: make sure that you have installed the drivers for it.


Can anyone help me connecting it....

Thanks for the price.
Anyways Megabass will always have low-volume in all models but instead there is improvement in the thump/base quality.

One has to select equaliser option of 'Normal' [All bands maximum] to have high volume.

This phone has a great design and is priced reasonably. However, i'm having a problem transferring contacts from my PC to it as it says 'no phone connected'. Don't know if it's the set or a software problem. Disappointed as I really like the silver/white model. Hope to solve it soon.

I want 2 knw if d w302 can minimize tasks bcos i dont see d activity button.
D tings i like about SE ova nokia:
fast camera,lively UI,better media player and lots of jar apps
