it is a nice phone n have the beautiful color..dun choose w595 because the camera only one way...hehe

I heard that he is a twin of W980. Just it does not have 8GB interal memory.

hi to all does any one know when will this phone be released in the philippines and how much it costs and can someone tell me what are the good sony ericsson clamshell phones because sony ericsson is a very durable because I have a sony ericsson w580 and it been with me for almost 9 months for me and i always drop it in the floor but it is always ok
so can anyone tell me sony ericsson clamshell phones that have nice quality

i just recontract and bought this phone from singtel retailer shop for $118 cause singtel does not officially sell this phone.
Any feedback whether the price is expensive cause m1 is giving free for this phone

I have Z 520 clamshell and yes the flex cable was changed twice along the last 3 years and now it happens again but i no longer find this spare unit in the service center so i am using it and the screen flickers and move around and waiting to buy new mobile.
i haven't tried samsung mobiles nor motorolla.
i think samsung mobiles are very light and it wouldn't tolerate( i don't know if this right or wrong),about motorolla in my country the company that guarrantee the motorlla is very bad and don't have good reputation and i won't buy a mobile that hold the same company guarrantee
so what is left now is either nokia or sony ericsson, i prefer sony ericsson but if there is a better nokia phone it is ok.
may be i haven't arranged my points well.
Good build quality,light weight,small in dimension, good keys, good battery,good looking.
i want to buy something as good and better than my Z 520 not less than it.
although z 520 has the problem of flex but i love it and appreciate the phone even it doesn't have the huge features that are available now.
about w 980 i think it doesn't have the option to show the picture of the person calling i have read some comments of people asking about this option.
anyway it is a good phone but it is still expensive in my country it is around 430 USD although in every other country around 250 USD
i think i will wait for the T 715 sony ericsson phone i hope it will be good phone, if not i may think about the w 995 again

I know clamshell phones have a weakness in flexible cable thing. Some people always said like that. I am worry too about the flexible cable, but it's OK for me. I had used clamshell phone for 21 months and never replace the flexible cable until now. You said Z520's external screen can show picture of person who are calling. I think Sony Ericsson W980 and Motorola RAZR phones can do this too because their external screen is colorful. Of course, W995 is expensive because its features. If you said you want a good looking phone, I would say some Motorola phones (RAZR V3i, RAZR V3x, RAZR V3xx, RAZR Maxx V6, RAZR2 V8, RAZR2 V9, W510), Samsung Z560, Nokia 6600 Fold, and some Sony Ericsson phones (Z770, Z610i, Z555i, W980, W508, T707) are good looking. For quality, all phones have advantage and disadvantage.
So, why do still confuse to buy a phone? Consider what design you want and what features you want.

i do agree with you about not spending much money on a mobile phone. i also have a suspicious about the xpress music phone and also the symbian i thought that i will not like them. i am kinda convinced about sony ericsson phones.
but really i need a phone and have made many searches and haven't decided one till now, i know that there is no perfect one.
i do like clamshells but i am worried about the flex problem also in my country the se service is very bad and i don't want to go again with that problem.
i do like the w 508 and also the w 995 but it is too expensive.
so if you can help me to recommend a mobile for me i will be very thankful
the things that are most important to me: is to have small mobile phone in dimesnions and to be light weight.
another important thing i want a good build phone and also to be a good looking one.
w 995 is a good build one and i haven't heard problems about it till now but it is 113 gram and when in my hand i feel it is little heavy weight.
it has many good features ( i do confess that i don't need all these features) but the main problem it is so expensive
w508 is a good one but when i compare it to the old Z 520 that i still have. both are good looking
z 520 is better in build quality and in keys and even at the external screen. the external screen can show the picture of the person calling and i think this option not included in w 508 since th external screen is only monochrome
it is 3.5 years old and se instead of making better things they are cost saving
i think other features of camera and sound and memory they all are in favour of the w 508
