Well , im looking to buy this phone. The only thing that worries me a little is that
1)it has a built in 256 MB and no card slot.im afriad that it might be a problem in the future when 256mb is no longer enough.only upgrade option is for a new phone =P
2)is there a sound quality difference no the Ear Phones, when using a k750 and a w550?
If theres anyone who has already bought this phone, do give a feed back on how u felt about it. THanks..

if you want a walkman phone a wud advise on the sony erricson W800i you get 34mb internal memmory and a 512mb memmory card whitch you can expand to 4gig! the computer am on at the moment hasent got a hard drive that big? but it is old tho but the W800i is amasing it has everything and all cables for your computer e.c.t

Can u please tell me any phone of nokia (a youth one) better than this(an affordable one-upt $450)...I need to buy a nokia or sony ericsson..thats all that we get in ksa...and also can u please tell me from where can i find free software for this phone.

i am confuseed... i was going for an ipod..now this w550i.. well tell me how many mp3 songs can be downloaded? what do u actually mean by walkman media player?

no it doesnt have xpandable memory read the specs first b4 u ask a question..

Hyder, thanks. i think 5 sec is pretty fast transfer. I hate using bluethoot for mp3 transfer it takes almost 3-4 min. i know it can play video in full screen mode. Can u tell me one more thing , does the video player got fast-forword n rewind function. I know other W family phones doesnot have that funtion.
raju, i think u must be stupid to sell 7710 just to buy this phone. coz this is totally different catogory phone , u cannot compare with these 2 phone.

I have seen the w550i.Its cool.I currently have a nokia 7710.I wanna sell it and go for the w550i.Is it a right decision? Please help.I need your opinion guys.

this is one of the ugliest phones i have seen and not that good to use with the silly swivel keypas that will soon need attenion as it will soon stop working bin it and start againe with a better one

I bought this phone yesterday.
The sound quality is excellent.No camparison.I say that the quality of earphones are equal to iPod.
One thing i din't like was the quality of the camera.Worst.Earlier I WAS USING 6681 & 6670 AND THERE CAMERA QUALITY WAS FAR BETTER.
If anyone just wants music then go for it.

hey if u r using usb cable u can transfer 1 mp3 of 4.5 to mobile in 5 seconds thats good speed
this phone has a good key pad
this is reallya stylish fone

The phone rockz...but i think the cam's nt dat good enuf!!...specially for still picz..
i compared the pic wid one taken by 3230...
the pic quality is a bit grainy..nyone else facin da same prob???...

I'm not sure about the transfer speeds on USB to the Phone... But I do know that the phone supports full screen play-back :)

Yes Rachel it does tell you that infact all SE mobiles do!
I own a K750i & i've used other SE phones previously so m sure of that.
Btw i guess a K750i or an W800i are better buys then either the W550i or W600i, or you rather wait for the W900i!
