Hi, I'm getting this phone from Hong Kong, but I live in Canada and my carrier is Rogers Wireless. Can somebody tell me whether or not this phone will work for me? TIA.

dont blame the memory. 256mb is more than enough.even 3 mb mp3 quality is great on this phone. AND the phone has become affordable only because of the fact that it has limited memory.So thats a plus point.If u want memory ,go for W800 or even better wait for W900.

hi, am in two minds. i want a good quality phone which has excellent mp3 capabilities (was gonna buy an ipod, and am due a phone upgrade, so figured this would kill two birds...etc).

Anyway, it boils down to the Samsung D600, and the Sony Ericsson W550. Can anyone tell me which is the better phone?

if you call somebody and they're on the other line does it tell you? like by saying "call waiting" or something, like nokia phones do? plz i needa know this!

I needed to know if this phone suppords 3D games like nokia NGAGE Qd! And also from where can i get these games and at what cost! Overall i like this phone and planning to buy it or Ngage Qd!

hey i got w550 for rs.14900inr thats around $340usd.i tell u its an awesome phone awesome sound quality n very good camera.
se rockkkkkssss.nokia...heard bout it??? lol lol lol.

Today W550i launched here in india with a price tag of Rs16500/- and W900i will be launched in december with a price tag of Rs27000/- . I got all these information from Mobile expo, happened here in delhi.

new english dubbed version has got 310 mb in it
style up covers are crazy and sexy............................................­love this fone
blue tooth is crazy very fast u can say it is 4 times quik=ck than 6630
sweeet design little heave but sounds soooooooooooo high............................................­...................
it is one of the best mobiles
and 320 mb are enough

well if u r using s700 i think u should not buy this phone bcoz both the phone looks similar n more or less the fetures r also the same so look for some other phone

its compact and is full of surprises. the only back form to it is its FIXED MEMORY..i hope they do something about it..

Hai Every Body......

If you want to buy Sony Ericsson Mobile... go for W550, coz it is an amazing phone and you have all the features what you are expecting but one disadvantage that... there is no addon memory slot......

But you have enough memory to store...

Buy and Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The W600 and W550 are identical phones...

At first the W600 was an American exclusive, but then Sony Ericsson decided to release to the rest of the world as the W550

Couldn't find any difference between this & W600.
Anyone?

The sound may be great,the camera maybe 2mp but whats the use if the memory is fixed?

An intelligent desing for the new era we live. Only that it has no feature to enable user to record a favorite music into MP3 format when played from the built -in FM radio. I really look forward to a model that will be able to record music played form the built in radio and stored as mp3

Thx, Yea I am a music fan. I carry my Sony PSP everywhere I go, I travel a lot. Like 6 months of the year I am out of Canada. I want a phone that is simple, like currently I use a Nokia 6820 and Nokia 9290. I love the 6820, its amazing and good for me. SO I guess I will go for the w550i.
