i want to buy this phone,but I have a question about Wap 2.0.
I'm using NOkia 3100, Wap 1.2, in China Mobile network, and have no problems whatsoever accessing my Yahoo mailbox, reading and writing e mails. A friends of mine has Sony Ericsson S700, Wap 2.0, and when she tries to open her mails in her Yahoo account, it gives a notice that there's an error on the page and it cann;t be displayed.
so i'm worried, is this to do with the WAP versions, and if i buy the W550 i'll have the same problem with viewing my emails?

this fone looks gr8...i am planning to buy this phone..can anyone tell me wat r all the various types of video files that this phone wil play...and is it possible to install our own softwares...like wat we can do in symbion powered phones like n6600....thank u pleas some one mail me abt these thinks who ever knows it better...bye

this the other one and w900 are swivel walkmans not flip ups :)the difference is that this one comes with better music options and software

hey guys, i have just ordered this phone and i'm told it comes with all 3 different coloured covers, orange, white and blue, which is cool but does anyone know where i could buy a pink cover? i have looked on e bay and google and haven't managed to find anything, please reply!

When using it as a phone to answer a call -- how many speakers work? I'm looking for a really loud and clear speakerphone. I've tried the W800i and that isn't good enough. This might not be either if only 1 speaker works!

If SE W550 and SE W600..... Which 1 u want to buy ? And which 1 is better or nice to use ? 2 phone just like same want... Any people can say with me ? TQ !

To save more songs reduce the kbps to 64...the sound quality would go down a little but still it is very good.

I hv been using this phone for the last one month,and believe me I am more than satisfied.
I have loaded 90 songs at 64 kbps,160 themes,35 3gp Videos,15 MP3 Ringtones and have 200 Pictures anD still haS 36 MB Free Memory.It cant better than this...can it???
To save more songs reduce the kbps to 64...the sound quality would go down a little but still it is very good.
While playing MP3`s only 2 speakers work not the front speaker.
The 1.3 MP camera is extremely good,and the video DJ and Photo DJ Function Rocks.
And the best thing about this phone is that it is a fashion statement with all the features one desires in this price range.
What else anybOdy wants...
I bought it in New Delhi,India at Rs.15,300 or 333 USD.

Hey im thinkin of gettin this phone and i hav som my on pair of noise reducing earphones for on the bus. Just wonderin, will i be able to use these with the W550??? Really imporatant cuz the main reason im buyin this phone is becuz of the walkmen-cellphone combination!!! Plz answer bk

Hey guys this phone is great, I was in Frankfurt for 3-4 days and I tested couple of phones there. One of them was the S.E. W550i and its amazing.
One comment, if you are like me who drops the phone often then head for a Nokia with a smaller screen or S.E. Flips.
Anyways I am a SONY guy, but since I live in Canada and all the phones there are locked I have to buy them from FRA or U.K.
