W580 could compete with 810i caz no other companies can compete with sony walkman phones.
Will be one of the best phones Apple should be shivering by this time. .

does this phone have an equaliser?? not the display one, but the one with which i can manually set the bass, treble etc. just like the one in W800?

Hey Dee,
the price shouldn't drop any further any time soon; Sony knows if the price goes down any more, no one would buy an s500 if they could get this for almost the same price... they don't want to compete against themselves.
i'm also curious where you found it for 310.

Rogers now has this phone in Canada.... just ordered mine today so will update when UPS shows up. Question.. don't know much about bluetooth but the wireless stereo idea interests me and I'm thinking about picking something up in anticipaton of the big day.
What am I looking for? Are the Sony ones good or are there better out there? If better, why? Thx.

@A55hat...let me tell u why the battery last 2 days...because of the display brightness...its set to 100%..lower it to 50% and it will last at least for 5 days..it worked on my w850...at first, the battery last for 2-3 days, now up to 5 days...trust me..;)

This is exactly what I was waiting for, the price dropped from 374 to 310 in a matter of a week, I don't know if i should wait two more weeks for it to drop again but I risk losing an extra 5% off which would lower the price to $295 and if the price doesn't drop I'm screwed.

It really is a nice phone.
I don't think I'll get it because it doesn't have video call. But the temptation is strong... I'm doing my best not to put one in my pocket :))
