SE is making a better styled replacement for the already old W810 and K750. the W610 and K550. but if someone says that the features sisn't change over the old walkman and camera phones.
here:
-new phones are slimmer,smaller and more styled
-the walkman version is 2.0 and the cybershot version on k800 is used instead of the old UI and features in k750.
-the platform enables multitasking java applications and other functions at one time
-the 3D gaming is faster
-A2DP function is present
-backward compatible with older native accessories and also the new ones will work seamlessly.

i use w810i just a month, then i lost that from my home. that was a stolen case. and then i found i lose my heart. u know that was sole. yes i men it. that phone was everything to me. all is one on that phone. and now i see this w610. i don't know the price, but i thing that i found my lost mobile again from this w610i. wish this phone success.

Why change something good when u can improve something great? I have W810 and this is just an improvement of it, slimmer and slicker.

oh, gosh.........this is an exact copy modification of w810,,,,,,,,,, well its not worth the buck to change to w610.... it doesnt deliver more oomph than the w810,, so yea,, its jus better to keep your w810,,,,,,,,, its just an minor revamp of the phones design.......... and oh yea, i was expectin more out of SE,,,

can any buddy tell me when it will b out in a market?tht fone ultra awesoome man,and it is surely be,am not comparing it wid motorola L9 sylvr coz both have same features,but SE is way far from moto sorry moto lovers,n plz tell me bout its internal memory?

Well I won't exactly call W810 screen big!
it's just a 176x220, that's too small. And yes it will have the same res. as W810.
I don't know why they don't stuck with QVGA Res.for the walkman line...

In my humble opinion, the sound quality of SE Walkman phones is great. However, one may wish to tweak them a bit of installing new drivers for louder output. These can be found on various SE User Forums, such as se-nse.net
I've had my W810 since November 2006 and really enjoy it. I listen to music on an average of 2-3 hours per day with it. The packaged ear-buds are great - probably the best I've ever experienced in stock ear-buds.
In terms of memory, I have a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo in mine now, and easily have 35 - 40 CDs worth on material on it, ,with some room to spare for photos, etc.. The music is encoded at 88 Kbps ACC/MP4 though, as I have found bit-rate gives the best size/performance ratio - 80 Kbps distorts a little bit and 96 Kbps just didn't make that much of a difference in quality.
The W610 is really just an update to the W810. If I hadn't bought my W810 so recently I'd seriously be considering the W610. As it is though, I just can't justify buying a new cell when I'm perfectly happy with the one I have.
Considering that the price of the W810 will drop once the W610 is released, one may want consider purchasing it as it's essentially the same phone minus a software upgrade.
