Hay guys,
I have been using w700 till date, now I am want to buy w610i, I love it, but I have a question, I will be leaving to USA next month and will this handset work there, I have checked with all the majour service providers like Cingular, T-mobile, Sprint, [no verizon cause it is CDMA] ... and I did not find this phone in any of their plans, so I thought of buying this handset here in India and then use it in USA .. but will it work there [I know that it is a Quad band]? Please tell me ...
Thank you all,

hey guys, i never had a walkman phone,
but i had k618i and my old k750i, both sounds very good for me when i play music in its headsets earphone, both had same quality...
is a walkman phone much better when you listen to music? or just the same quality that only additional features like mega bass, track id and bigger memory are upgraded?
thanks guys

i'm planning 2 buy walkman phones,i'm stuck with w610 or w810.
i heard w610 has better sound than w810.is it just the loudspeaker or is it the walkman v2?what bout the sound quality(if we listen music by the headset) of both phones?
does walkman v2 really do significant changes to the previous walmn v1,or is it just a matter of the player(which has slight effect to the sound quality)?
what is the difference between walkman ver.2 and ver.1?
how much is the effect of walkman ver.2 to the sound quality compared to the ver.1?does it differ much, or just a litlle?
anybody knows?
please help.......
thanks.

W610 multitasking capabilities are very good! You can can run several java apps like the gmail client, google maps and Opera Mini at once and at the same time listen to music and work with tha camera..make a phone call..type a text msg...and a lot more :) Amazing mobile phone by Sonyericsson

W610 is a very good ugrade from w810. The external speaker is louder but most importantly the call speaker is much better than the one in my old W810...it helps a lot during a phone call. The display is very good also! Walkman 2.0 is almost perfect. Battery life is good too. The only thing is the keypad but I got used to it after 100 sms msgs or so :) It should take 4GB mem stick when they come out

I just got the SE W610 today, and compared to my previous W810 it's good so far. I have one question though. When Im setting my alarm clock, there is no option for AM/PM so it's going off in the Evenings..not sure if it will go off in the morning now. Is there a way around this. Will appreciate any tip.thanx!

erm.. anyone knows does this W610 supports 2GB memory stick? the websiite is not accurate at all... i'm using K618 currently with a 2GB M2 at it works perfectly well without lagging... thinking of switching to a walkman phone becoz i kinda like the megabass... W610 is so attractive and its thin and quite light... W810 does not support WMA format which caused most inconvinience....
