It have MegaBass and its out allready for around 350$ , check it out on ebay .

The biggest drawback of w610i is no Megabass in it.otherwise its more stylish than W810i.I think this phone is lack of QVGA resolution.

poor multy talsk thats why we talk about nokia and .... not htc .... nokia and se are to excellent company but se needs more pda pda pda like w950 or they need to make a p990 for america 850mhz then nokia and samsung will be out of the question

thats why they dont put os in there w series smaller phones

does anyone ACTUALLY know when and/or where i can get this fone from?
Why is it that ppl seem to love leaving comments on a SE phone but wanna talk about how great nokia or samsung is? it really dont make sense! talk about the phone that your leaving the comment on. if someone is looking at s SE then talk about a SE to help them get informed about that phone not some other brand that has no relation to the phone at hand. compare 2 phones like the W580 to the nokia E65. something that would actually be useful not just being over opinionated

i think that sonyericsson Symbian os pda is not as user friendly as nokia symbian os
nokia also has the n73 witch is symbian os 12.5 mp3 playback 3,2 mp
se competes with ipod more than nokia
nokia 5700 look at that it s a pc man shhhhhhhhhhh
the best phone s in the world

and the most popular in america that is bad really bad and sould like crazy stupid motorolla and razer talk about the environnement i keap my nokia phones for 1 2 3 y and drop the repeadedly still works eaven droped my se w810 in a toilet bol still works
motorolla is garbage can some one buy moto and and change the marketing .

can any one tell him how stpid he is
mp3 phones 101 sony ericsson phones that uses m2 memory card so you can choose fron 512 mb to 2gb 2gb = 4 times 512 mb
look at the size of a folder on a computer filed with mp3 s click on rit button propiete its bonna tell you how useless that was
to ask
this phone is crazy small it really competes with ipod , really good replacement eaven if you dont have a line

a very nice fone by SE.IT only lacks QVGA screen resolution and camera shutter.Over all it is very good fone perfect as walkman......cooool.

So this is SE's best selling phones this year. for camera K550/K800 or music W880/W610 in smartphone? hope SE will make their big answer to the E90 and N95. good luck SE!

So, W810i = NO A2DP
W610 = A2DP
I dont see any other difference and i bet this W610 also has poor earpiece volume and sad speakerphone voice quality..

Chill out that guy was just tryin to be helpful... even though it really didnt address the issue properly. calm down you are right, the 810 does have that black light and the 610 seems to have the same exact functions as the 810 so i wouldnt bet on it having that feature. but this could be an option for you... find a S.E. phone that has wat you want for software and flash your 610 to get it. and also if the clock is that important to you over a phone that plays music maybe you should look at other phones such as LG or nokia(i know that LG has it)

at last from sony ericsson a top quality joystick because some of there older ones have been dust worthy an easily breakable but will they keep this sort of joystick on its new models hope so ,an auto-focus back with this mobile it should be a top seller

i think that this phone is one of the best ones by sony ericsson the memory is excellent and the battery lasts for ages this is definitly a thumbs up

Thanks papa for the reply but it is not quite right. One of the models without Sleep Mode Clock is w810i (W810 has no sleep mode clock (it has been removed entirely). Instead you have to press the Walkman button or one of the volume buttons ...)) the text from the brackets is from mobile-review.com and I agree with it from personal experience. Check the forums and you'll come across with the annoying black screen of at least w810i. So please guys lets be serous and I expect answer from someone who knows about phones to answer the question If w610i will have the Sleep Mode Clock or it will have again the black screen in the non-active stand by mode. I expect serious answers and not like the one from papa. Thanks guys!

all SE phones have sleep mode clock since the 456 B.C and all of the events like new msg,missedcall any thing will appear in that mode, check your setting.

Will the w610i have the Sleep Mode Clock?
I am asking this because I was very disapointed with w810i not having this useful option and I do not wish to wait another one or two months to buy it and to discover that w610i has the same lack of sleep mode clock option. I am tired of returning SE phones because they do not have this option at least to be able to see the missed events without pressing any
buttons. Thanks!
