o cya... cge tomorrow we'll found out what phone i'll buy. is it a w810i, the kind-a-old but small and terrible phone or the k618i, the simply adorable design but nothing fancy feature phone. thank you to everybody. all of you are big big help!!!

i was getting some info on this W610 fone coz i want to buy a new fone.. but then i noticed you're talkin' about the w810.. actually that is what im goin' buy.. i've done my research bout w810.. so to moon.. go and buy w810.. it's really a good fone... the only bad thing about this fone is that i cant make whole mp3 songs as your ringtone..you have to cut it to around 20sec(based on user comments that actually own one) ..but i think that's not so bad coz why wud u make a 3min mp3 song as ur ringtone?? will you wait that long to answer d call?? and nobody will w8 that long if nobody's pickin' up d call.. =)) so go and buy w810..

cos i i have a walkmanfone already, kya npili ko k618i to be different. pero w810i is really good, i think its much better than k618i.
w810i price never drop so low, its first price was 16k last feb 2006, now w/ in a year 13k pa. k618i first price was 15k last august it was first released, now w/in 7months plng 12k nlng.
dont regret it moon, wou will love w810i for sure. it has many fun functions. k618i is a little boring, nothing fancy,just the basic functions needed. w810i because its a walkman, it has many unique functions that only walnmanfones have. go for it! :)

Ehmmm guys i had my k750 for almost 2 years now, and like all phones it broke !! ;D (i am a hardcore user) Well i am thinking of buying W610 since Sony ericsson phones are reliable... BUT i just want to know if the menu is the same like my old one ( if anyone happened to own a K750) and if it has something better than than that its a walkman


... btw i dont know if this phone is out yet so make me some suggestions .... help a guy in need :P

i have 2 phones,i have k618i and w900i, my w900i is a little bit old already but its my favorite, i bought k618i for alternative, and its a good phone. so far no hangs and has the basic functions you needed. but i think you should buy w810i, you look good together, its the phone you described, i think it was made for you:)

the way you describe your fone choice,
the first thing came to my mind is w810i :)
i own a k618i now, but b4 i chooses between k618i and w810i but ended up w/ k618i. i love them both.
im really surprised when your describing a phone and you didnt even mension w810i as 1 of your choices, and that was closest fone i can see the way you describe. i love that cute fone. i think its your fonemate, it was made for you:)

i heard you have the k618i, can you answer some questions?

1. can you use the camera or take a picture like a k800i, i mean like a digital camera (horizontal)?

2. can it play midi files to?

3. can you see set midi and mp3 files as alarm & message tone?

4. can i set birthday, annive reminders onces but it is set automatically every year?

5. can i set a specific tone (like midi or mp3) for a reminder or the reminder tone is just standard?

6. if i can use mp3 as ringing tone it means i can also use wma as ringing tone since it can play wma file.

7. can this phone display album art when you play a song? not much of a music lover but it would be nice if it does.

8. is screen display is as good as w850i even if it has 176x220 resolution? i'm not expecting it to be as bright as samsung or nokia but i hope it's above average.

9. can it record video higher than 176*144 pixels.

(sigh....) this phone choosing is a brain teaser. I'm not a person who change a mobile phone every year, that's why i'm trying to choose the right phone for me.

really i dont understand these SE W models , they are in the same look from W200 until W900 !!
It is like a Soda Cans in the suprmarket in a different sizes!!
I would like to see other genius designs from these Walkmans especially they have good features !!

w810i is a small cute classy fone, i think it will best fit your hands. you will enjoy it. dont wait this w610i. not worth,it will be overpriced because its a new release, yet its almost the same as w810i.
Go for w810i! i think it will best fits you. your petite. you and w810i together looks awesome the way i imagine :)

true, k550i has everything w660i have in terms of feature. as much as i'm tempted to buy it i think i won't. it seems it has lot of going on in its casing.. u know, too crowded. i like a clean, elegant looking phone that's why between the k550i and w660i i prefer the w660i. and for the k810i, oh i love that phone but i think it's to big for me, i'm a petite person with a hand of a 15 yr. old. but thanks for the recommendation anyway.

like i've said, k800i seems to be big for me.. but i'll still think about it, i can still wait for the k810i, maybe i'll choose the latter but that would be a very long time. have to buy a phone this month cause i don't own one right now. he he he.

Wow!this phone i buy just only rm 900 damn cheap right !it quality ,mp3 and camera is damn good .damn cool man!!!i want to buy thisphone to my best friends hope them will like it ^^

Well...for all those who might have problem with the w610, k550, w810 for lack of a flash and only the two LEDs that cannot take good pictures in low light conditions, you can buy the MXE-60 flash accesory. This gadget can be plugged into the charger port and the phone recognises it as a flash, and gives you the option to use it.

moon - i think you should go for the K550 if slimness is your issue. but if you want slimness and K800 features K810 rules them all.

yes dont wait for this, its just an average fone, it will be overpriced becos its a new release, money not worth. its almost the same as w810i.
you want a really good phone? go for k800i...
cybershot camera w/ mp3 and fm, and its 3G supported. what more can you ask for that? has everything. some says they dont like the joystick of it, but who cares? w/ all that features in it, forget about the joystick.

thanks again for the recommendation, it seems that i'm not going to wait for w610i, though i love it's slim factor, its auto focus, photo light and radio but hate its big font size and TFD screen, guess screen quality and UI means so much to me.

but still confused what phone to buy, other say i should get the w850i since it has everything the w610i have, well except for the bulky design and the endangered slider. some says the slider will get loose in time.

so what do you think?

anybody else have a suggestion?

whats the reson sonyericsson launched walkman phone w610 with out megabass?
I am realy disappointed .
Sonyericsson w610i without megabass , but mediaplayer version 2.0
how is audio quality with out megaabass ?
I am a mobile music lover i am w810i faver fan,
Pls tell which is the best audio quality?
I am replace with w810i to w610i pls guide.
