OMG I\'m shocked as well!
- NO megabass
- NO image stabilizer
- NO optical zoom
- NO powerpoint support
- NO Photoshop
- NO embedded solar battery charger -
- NO espresso maker
What kind of a phone is that ?!

Heloo friend i have the special deep news about the sony ericsson w610i that there is no Mega bass in it and this is so disapointing thing from sony because i am the biggest fan of the SE w810i and I love it because it has the Mega bass but now freinds sony has betrayed the music fans not giving the mega bass in SE w610i
even I was surprized but now I am shocked

Should i wait for this or get an w810i. im sick of my phone and want a walkman phone but i dont know if the wait is worth it. April is a long ways away. any ideas on the price usd? if its more than 300 ill probably get the 810 right now. thanks =)

Gr8 design, but i hope this phone has gr8 sound quality like w550i, because the w810i loudspeaker sound is a shame 4 us: walkman lovers.

its a gr8 phone, but to me its jst like w880, there both gr8 phones, i av w810i at min and i luv it so its between this phone and the w880,,,,,,

It is a cool phone the only problem is its low screen resolution which is 176*220.it sucks i cant understand why it has low resolution.

Thanks a lot for the reply. Hmmm, I think my sister can wait that long naman. I'll have to live a couple of months pala without my W810. exchange kasi muna kami ng phone. Yey! excited na ako for her. :)

they finally fixed the phone details on sony's website, it is quad band and all, the features are similar or better than w810i so i think this phone should get a better rating?

For those who are concerned that wether this phone has "MegaBass" or not? Yes it is a walkman and it definately has megabass as i have tested beta version of this phone. Secondly it is not possible to flash w810 with w610 software it will kill the phone. If anybody still want to try then good luck.

It does look a lot better than the W880 - whose idea was it to give the W880 a scabby camera with no flash?! However, the screen resolution on the W610 is only 176x220, whereas that of the W880 is 240x320, which is generally considered to be standard for most phones these days. I'm more of a Cybershot fan myself and will no doubt be going for the K810i, but the design of the W610 would have been enough to tempt me if it weren't for the poorer resolution.

price? 15k-17k.. since this is prety much like w810i maybe a little upgraded, since w810 first price when it first came out is around 16k.

I think that everyone with a good sense thinks like me...if W610 was MS Pro DUO it would be perfect, prefer W810 just because of the MS Pro DUO that its way better and common.
