just got this phone 2 days ago.. i love it so far, no problems at all, but i want to know what is the simplest way to get songs onto it - and how many songs approx does the 256 memory card hold??

now i know thre's no stereo widening in this fone... i like stereo widening effect especially when ur using the inbox earphones.. so sad...

Hey I just want to diffrentiate this phone with my previous W550i. While sending a message to group of people delivery reports automatically get off but when we are sending to single person then delivery report comes.
* In W550i there is a n option in internet services through which we can update our handset's firmware online through GPRS and this immportant option is really missing in W700i.
* No Stereo widening option in W700i.
* No option in W700i to show you that which Firmware is there in your handset.
* Most of the WAV formats are not supported.
* Camera quality is fine even there is no Aautofocus but there is some delay in frame while capturing an image.
* Battery consumes much on sending messages then on making calls.
* Walkman is mend to listen though stereo headsets provided by SE. If you listen songs through phone speakers then it soncuses lot of batery.
Further if any one wants to question or want to state me wrong is most welcome. Love and Peace and Enjoy Music

Well I would like to say on this that there is no stereo widening option in this phone. Its so because its simple handset speakers are not stereo like W550i but they should include this feature also. Many other features of W550i are missing in this phone. Not expected from SE as W700 is a new model to W550

The Sony Ericsson W700i is a really good phone, even without the autofocus function which the w800i has... It comes with an 256MB Memory Stick Pro Duo, which you can expand to 4GB :) The joystick is much better than the previous models, like the K700i and the K500i... The camera is very good, 2MP of course :) The sound quality is also very good, and the sound is very loud... I've got the phone for 4 months now, and it only got some scratches, that's all...
