its the coolest set ever.some people r just barking that w800i is better than w7ooi.Stupid;cant u see the price difference.w700i is a way better and cheaper phone than w800i.any one confused between these phone should go for w700i

i ve this phone for two months now , earlier it was fine but now i don't know what happened, when i try to watch videos from 'walkman' icon it fails to play videos that means i can watch videos from file manager not through walkman option so i can;t view videos on full screen.
if anyone knows what to do pls help me

hi everybody,
I have bought this phone recently and seeing the phone is effective in terms of cost by studying its features. though the lack of auto- focus feature is little drawback but I hope soon a firmware may be available to fix it. can any body tell me how to use w700i camera more effective (day/night mode) as compared to 2MP phone/camera line up. Thanks in advance,

change to video mode and click on settings then select shoot mode and change to high quality video and this will allow u to shoot video for a real long time as per the available memory in ur phone.

the main difference between w700 and w800 is the software as w800 s/w was screwd up they changed the s/w and released the mobile as w700 also the momory in w800 was 512mb and w700 is 256mb.

Heh guys, i'm planning to buy this phone, however i have been reading some post and opinion of the other users.There seems to be a slight problem with the camera and the music(in term of hang up/freeze). could some one confirm?

One month back I have brought this phone.Worth phone for its value.Sound quality is too good compared to Nokia sets.
It is better to always use the head phones to listen music.
I definitely recommend this phone

seems like a great phone with looots of features,dose the phone produces good quality pictures without autofocus??..those who have the phone please can someone send me a full Resolution photo sample(2 megapixel, 1600x1200),i want to buy the phone but confused about the photo quality

TO bunty frm mumbai...

the loudspeaker is deliberately kept low by sony ericcson to reduce battery consumption.....

also music is supposed to be played via headfones not speakers....dont try to manually set the equalizer to make it loud....as constant loud noise throug speaker damages it.....i have seen many ppl have damaged their w550i speakers by constant loud noise through it.....

so its really a good thing that the speakers have low volume.....if u want good speakers u can connect ur phone to ur pc speakers and enjoy...

if u open the same song as ringtones u will get very loud noise....
