I am thrilled by this phone.... its bundled with features and not so heavy on the pocket either compared to similar features loaded phones.
Also could some one tell me were I can get free game downloads for my phone. mail me at dinju4u@yahoo.co.in

I am comfortable using this phone(W700i) for 2 months now,,it's awesome,,,but my only problem is, when I save my message from Inbox it goes directly to the simcard limited memory,,,unlike the Nokia model which you can save messages as many as you want directly to the memory card, and you can even make personalize folder,,So anybody there can help me how to save a messages from Inbox directly to my 256MB memory card???? Is it possible????

Great phone! i have a 2GB memory stick which i would advise getting (or at least a 1GB) if your into music mp3 listerning. Love the colour (the reason i got this phone is that i didnt like the W800 colour scheme). Amazing camera! The sound with head phones is amazing! the only problem that ive ever had is that it can be quite easy to scrach etc not very good with a lovely colour like that...

the 550i has more external speakers (dunno exactly how many) so, it's louder than the w700i when not using the earphones.

The w700i has expandable memory whereas, the w550 has 256 mb builtin and no expansion slot. This is a limitiation for serious music freaks who want all their favorite numbers on the move.

As far as 'media' files go (dunno what exactly the user was asking for, both the w550i and w700i have similar specifications. Both play mp3 and aac audio files, and mp4 and 3gp video files.

Going into the autofocus camera part, the w700i doesn't have autofocus. This should not hinder buyers who are looking for a pure walkman phone, meant for good quality sound. But again, I wonder why SE decided to do away with tha AF. It makes a huge difference, I can tell. I've used the K750i (with AF) and the w700i (without) and the sharpness of the subject in question is undoubtedly better in the K750i.

Hello,
I remember a few W700 users asking how to switch of the camera clicking sound. The solution is that the user has to put the camera in silent mode & there would no clicking sounds.

can i know the diff between k750i, w700 and w800? it seems 3 of them are the same features. except w700 not auto focus right? tell me more.. which to choose?

Hey, new firmware is out, update through SE's Update Service, they couldn't fix the zoom issue in frames mode, so they shut it off, it indicates defective camera or serious problem with camera software. Everything else seems the same. Cheers.

Hey everyone with video problem: this phone plays videos in MP4 and 3gp format but when encoding from high quality the video played is choppy(try it) the solution is to encode video at 15fps and 250 kbps. It solved my problem. Try Imtoo mp4 converter.

Can somebody let me know how to play mpg/mepg video/movie clips on W700, I've tried it, but it didn't work:(.... it only play movies files having .3GP format only...

it's my 2nd phone i ever use after k700i. the features is complete. i like the sound and the camera although less autofocus. but i have any question:
1) sometimes the camera, capture yellowish picture. is yours too? why?
2) the display is not bright as well as other SE 262K display phones.
