Can we view MS office files (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) on W 700i. If yes, which software to be loaded on the phone and pl also tell the link.

well i rlly luv this phone although i think i shud hav bought nokia e50 cos well its nokia.......but when i looked at it again w700i is better cos of the flash, 2MP camera, lower price, complimentary 256MEM card.......the only thing better in nokia is the home screen, navigation button and you can install more software but this phone is virus proof unlike nokia phones and it has all the apps. anyone wud ever need....THIS PHONE ROX!!!

the best phone out in the market which I am happy to have (along with 1 GB Memory Card) is the sony ericsson k800.

of course the w700i is better than k750. its newer too. this is a really good phone. i have the w800i and its so good too. and theres not much difference between w700i and k750.

Kenny, it's the autofocus function of K750. W700 does not have autofocus.

manoj, you can do it in 2 ways.
1. connect to your pc/laptop (thru usb/BT/IR) and browse in your pc/laptop as if your phone is just an ordinary folder. there will be phone memory and card memory directories, and you can transfer files as you wish (but you will need a pc/laptop for this)
2. IF you don't have a pc/laptop for this, for example you want to transfer picture files, what you do is go to your gallery, select the picture/s you want to transfer by pressing More, select Manage Files -> Move to ext.mem / phone, and there you go.

Which one is better W700i Or K750i?

I ave used k750i just bought the w700i dont see much differnet except the 256MB stick dou dat comes with the W700i, who can tell me another differnet?

1). There is not AUTOFOCUS. but, can i include by upgrading SOFTWARE ?
2). Free Momory stick 256 MB of ScanDisk instead of original SONY Pro Duo..
3). Prob of handing when playing mode, is it virus prob? what to do?

the joystick is really troubling a lot,sound output has reduced over a period of usage.The storage of messages is limited.

hi
i hav newly bout w700.i think its superb.music is exellent and really rocks.its price is really oky with the expandable mwmory.the only problem is battry which is short in duration.any way i love it.

you can watch videos full screen, horizontal. just watch it in walkman mode and then go to more then fullscreen

does anyone know what to do when they get WOD? there is no new firmware on the SE site to update from, can you update with the W800 firmware?

1) i don't understand why the computer can't detect my w700 through the usb cable. can someone help?

2) is there a firmware update? what problems does the update fix? how would i update my phone's firmware?
