Hey i bought this model w700i last week and this phone is sure worth money for its features.. and i have some questions
1)Does this phone have code protection for folders,if how plz
2)how to activate the voice control as i am not able to record the voice control.
I would be pleased if anyone can help me out . reply soon plz

Can someone tell me is the sound quality of K750i and w7ooi similar or has w700i got better sound quality. And does the picture quality has much difference in both, cause i have heard that k750i has got better pic quality. If yes, does the difference can be known. Please guys reply soon..........

This phone comes with a 256 mb memory card and the sound wont be very nice in loudspeaker but in heaphones it will be very very nice.This phone has talktime of 9 hours and 400 hours standby.This is the advanced software of W800i and panel is also different.This phone also has MEGABASS and lots more.Sony ericsson phones are entirely different from nokia...

is there a MACRO mode in its camera??... i have a nokia 3250 now and i am planning to take this fone coz its cheap and a walkman fone with expandable memory unlike w550i...
is its sound quality by headfones the same as in w810i???

you can store 10 or 6 songso this phone you might need a sony memory card for your phone because it has a small memory on this phone.

I am thrilled by this phone.... its bundled with features and not so heavy on the pocket either compared to similar features loaded phones.

I am comfortable using this phone(W700i) for 2 months now,,it's awesome,,,but my only problem is, when I save my message from Inbox it goes directly to the simcard limited memory,,,unlike the Nokia model which you can save messages as many as you want directly to the memory card, and you can even make personalize folder,,So anybody there can help me how to save a messages from Inbox directly to my 256MB memory card???? Is it possible????

Great phone! i have a 2GB memory stick which i would advise getting (or at least a 1GB) if your into music mp3 listerning. Love the colour (the reason i got this phone is that i didnt like the W800 colour scheme). Amazing camera! The sound with head phones is amazing! the only problem that ive ever had is that it can be quite easy to scrach etc not very good with a lovely colour like that...

the 550i has more external speakers (dunno exactly how many) so, it's louder than the w700i when not using the earphones.
The w700i has expandable memory whereas, the w550 has 256 mb builtin and no expansion slot. This is a limitiation for serious music freaks who want all their favorite numbers on the move.
As far as 'media' files go (dunno what exactly the user was asking for, both the w550i and w700i have similar specifications. Both play mp3 and aac audio files, and mp4 and 3gp video files.
Going into the autofocus camera part, the w700i doesn't have autofocus. This should not hinder buyers who are looking for a pure walkman phone, meant for good quality sound. But again, I wonder why SE decided to do away with tha AF. It makes a huge difference, I can tell. I've used the K750i (with AF) and the w700i (without) and the sharpness of the subject in question is undoubtedly better in the K750i.

Hello,
I remember a few W700 users asking how to switch of the camera clicking sound. The solution is that the user has to put the camera in silent mode & there would no clicking sounds.
