guys you can see k530i instead of w700i b'cause k530 comtain 3G and the same camera(2mp),and great processor speed exceeding nokia N95,I request to the guy's please also verify k530 in this website about k530 great function and also read the enthusiastic user opinions of k530i.

w700 is a nice phone, i owned 1 for 10 mnths and still in good condition... picture quality is also good, sound also... the only problem is that the backlight sometimes switch off automatically for no reason and i have to restart the phone but all in all it's a great phone...
the difference between the w700 and k750 is that the cam function, k750 can still zoom up to 4x eventhough the picture size is 1600x1200 while the w700 cannot...
the w700 is like a walkman player and can be switch to music only minus the cellphone...
the 2 differ, w700 for music and k750 for camera... they are a good phone and depends on the user what features they prefer...
if u want both music and camera just try the w810 or w610 phone... they are all walkman phone with a "K" funtion of camera...

this phone is fantastic it is a great fone accept sometimes the screen freezes and ther only way to fix it is to take the battery out and restart it which can get a bit annoying but apart from that 218 bucks is well worth it

Its a nice phone.lokking very nice,hardy set.Its color combination is very good with high definition of picture quality.I think the difference between K750i & W700 series is about its sound quality.

i thing is very good phone and better than w800 because ( memory )is up to 4 gb but w800 is up to 2 gb. Does anybody angry with me???????

I bought this phone december 4, 2007 and it's still in good condition no problem with it and i fell the phone several times already and it's still ok... very good phone! the color of my phone is smooth white so now it's dirty white and my classmates mistook it for either a digital cam or they thought it was a toy... the features are superb with its price..compared with nokia phones

can anyone tell me what is the difference between w800i and w700i? and what about the k750i? i think the 3 are the same phone but their difference is only the housing.

I had the same problem with the camera turning on with the slightest movement.I managed 2 fix it myself,All I did was unscrewed & opened the back side where the camera shutter is & put super glue on the small currit where there is a very small switch that turns the camera on & off. it gets unglued if you drop it alot.
P.S I hope this help any1 with this problem.PLEASE help me with the question I asked before about the default email client.

Great phone, i've used mine about a year now,good sound and picture quality,however can anyone tell me why my phone always switches to camera mode from standby even with keypad locked and camera lens closed, is this behaviour common?

Hi all,
I've been using W700i since May '07 & trust me guys- it was worth switching from Nokia 3230.
The Mega Bass sound of Headphones is Rocking and Walkman UI is great!
Camera is good enough for Home Images & Videos... (Maximum resolution of Images is 1600 x 1200 ... Video is 176x 144, records in 3gp format) and camera settings are superb!
I've got 2GB of Memory Card installed & still, handset is much faster than N73!
I've installed Opera Mini 4 and it makes browsing much more faster and easier!
I've installed many games and applications, its really great!
I use this phone as a Modem with my Toshiba Laptop and the browsing speed is faster than BSNL Dialup... isn't it amazing?!?
But now, its been almost 10 months now and I think- its time to change the handset. So, if any1 is interested in W700i, do let me know at guy_ur_searching (its still under warranty!)

Sony Ericsson W700i Default Email Client Configuration Help!
Hi there, I was wondering if anybody knows How to configure Sony Ericsson's default Email client as I have unlimited GPRS enabled.
I have a Gmail account, with POP3 & IMAP enabled, & I want to use Sony Ericsson's default Email client with it because of the option "Check interval", Which would automatically check new emails after the specified time.
Which I like to use very much since I have unlimited GPRS subscription.
Right now I'm using Gmail's application Gmail (beta) Version: 1.1.1.
And of course Opera Mini hifi v4.0.9800.
But both of them don't have the option "Check interval" which is very impotent to me.
Now this is what I have in Menu/ Messaging/ Email/ Settings/ Account settings/ More/ Edit account

So this is how I've got it configured & it's not working for me. It just shows Finding server for ages till it gives an error of "Server not found". PLEASE HELP!!!

W700i is one of d best se's phone.Camera pic quality is superb....my mates in d medical sch trips 4 me on this.I hv medical dict,english dict,bible & other nice applicatns in d fon.H/e,d outer spkr produces screeching noise smtimes depending on d music loudnes bt most times very clear.Spkr vol is low bt ok on earphone.Am considering upgrading 2 nokia n73 bcos w70?i is neither a symbian nor a 3g fon.Apart frm these,d se w700i is stil d best in all ramificatns.
