The difference between this phone and the W800 is this phone DOES NOT have autofocus on the camera, and it comes with a 256MB card INSTEAD of a 512MB card, which is included with the W800.

Brilliant marketting idea from SE !
w800 is still one of the most competitive phones in the market; the thing is the name is getting old and is not considered a new phone anymore . now SE gets the most out of it when they re-launch the phone as a new phone so those who like the phone but not its date, would go for it :)

WTF is different between this stupid phone & w800? Only 4mb difference in internal memory & maybe the colour thats all.. WTF SE running out of ideas for walkman phones?

i think its a smart phone, better colour unlike the w800i. a lot of people just did not like the orange part but i still love it , all i can say is Sony knows what they are doing and its great work.
some people should come up with better ideas if they think this phone is stupid.

Good on ya sony ericsson...a smart move...its the same thing as the w800i but without the autofocus and 256mb card...the price'll b much lower and they've changed the white colour to a slightly brown colour...nice..so ppl hu found the w800i expensive cn buy this...i think im probably gonna see this around a lot more that the w800i...

i don't see any difference from previous models everything looks same ??? why SE doesn't work in different type of concepts like Samsung ?

It is the same like everthing else but im waiting for the next one with cybershot aand walkman that will be sick. the only reason i think there making the same cause the w800 coming off the self soon because its nealy a year old and i think not a lot of people had a chance of getting one cause it was to expencive so they brougt out the same one and change it a little so much more cheaper

i believe SE release this phone only to introduce a cheaper substitute other than w800...
Yes it is an exact replica of W800, however with the reduction in memory space, SE will be able to cut the price of W700 by significant amount to broaden their market segment....
and personally.. i prefer this brown as oppose to the white version.. the white colour exterior is subject to dullness and yellowing over time...

I am sure everyone must have read that not everyone was fond of the orange color, So now they change the color and the name its a bad thing??????
And to the guy that suggested that SE stop using cheap cameras in there phones please stop lying. The The W800\ K750 / ((Well the W 700 also i guess ))) are the best camera phones on gsmarena.
