I hate flip phone but SE has changed my opinion about them ... Did u guys see the buttons for music playing on d phone ... cool na!!!
but how come the screen is still so small with that resolution they cuve gone for a bigger screen right?
THese guys dont give us everything do they

im was wondering if there is no Auto Focus, the picture taken will be all blur or bad quality? does the front screen show the date and time? i think it is hard to take self potrait with this phone, no AF and dont have smth like reflector. And how does the movement sensor work? this phone is great and is my idle phone but there is nothing perfect??

mm...its hard to understand the direction of these phones now, sure they might target a market, but i dont understand why they keep making great phones but just leaving one thing out, in this case AF which is almost crucial to a good camera, if you leave AF out what is the point of having 2MP, everything wil be blurry anyway just like the camera on the n80, is it really that hard to complete a package?

M2 is very little in comparison to MS Duo Pro in size terms. Memory Stick Duo Pro is capable to store up to 4Gb in a simple card, in the Memory Stick Micro M2 the capacity of storage will be up to 32Gb in the future with more faster write/read speeds than MS Duo Pro.
And the new SE models (W950, W850, W710) set USB v2.0, is much faster than oldest W series that carries USB 1.0

Can someone tell me whats the difference between Memory Stick Micro (M2) and Memory Stick Duo Pro? On w810 e.g. Duo Pro is up to 2GB. Can the w710 support 2GB?
Another thing. Hows the data transfer with the SE phones via usb cable? If its fast enough I believe u dont have to pull out the memory card and use a card writer.

Ericsson starts communication, and keep hardworking to improve theirselves.Sony joins Ericsson, AMAZING.SonyEricsson's journey never ends CUZ they are PAST they are PRESENT and they are FUTURE of communication....I compared top brand cellphones to SonyEricsson, SonyEricsson is better than the BEST...

Seem like SE is now removing AF from all their Walkman phone, this is to differentiate them from Cybershot Phones ???

this phone has the best appearance of all competitors on it's targeted markets, music and cool sporty people, and i really like the designs, i hope SE will make more and more phones in sporty style coz it's so cool, wish that they make cool phones not only in walkman series, but in K,Z,P series... if these will happen, well people of SE will get more inloved with their beloved SE phones... btw, it's a very very good job SE!

To be honest with all you guys, I should tell you that this is one helluva' phone. It has everything I wanted, a walkman phone with a beautiful flip design. As said before by someone else, eventhough I aswell will miss the flashlight in my previous phone(K750i) neverthless I am going to buy this phone.

i've been waiting for a w-series phone that's a flip phone...and i havent been let down by w700..this phone looks awesome compared to w300..the only thing that bothers me is that the screen on the outside isnt colored..and what's a motion sensor?=/
