I've had this phone for 2 years, altrough it fell in the pool and then it fell on the grill(Oh yea i'm a clumsy person), the case was melted but it ran fine.I've never serviced it. So i wouldn't really say it's a bad built phone, altrough the GPS signal is weak and the software isnt wery smooth, i'd say it's a good phone.

im really starting to hate this phone...
i cant even plug anything into the phone (charger/earphones)
the jack doesn't recognize anything.
i used to be able to charge my phone with a hair elastic around the cable to push it in but now it's all messed up and i can't charge my phone anymore....

I had this phone for a year. At first I thought it was good but it wasn’t. I had the same problem, the screen keeps shutting down. After a while, it can’t read my memory card. I had it checked and they told me that there’s something wrong about the program and there’s a risk that it would return again if I had it fixed.

I've had mine 6 months and it works great, no problems. Treat it like the somewhat fragile piece of electronics it is and all will be fine.

I have dropped mine about 5 times on concrete with no ill affects. Plus, besides the nicks, have have no problems.....so what did you do to the phone????

i have same problem like samantha. the screen keep on blinking, front keypad drop Rm60 to install the new one. it cant show the last number that i dial on the screen and sometimes it shut down by itself..its look solid but actually it quite fragile..lagging is the most that i experiance..

This phone is one of the poorest quality Sony Ericsson phone I've ever come across. It lags a lot and many time will not function properly. I dropped it a few times and 2 of the keypads cease to function. I had them repaired for $50. After that, the phone would also not log all my calls. Sometimes I would have a missed call and yet there would not be any alerts to inform me. In addition, it hangs very often as well. It is overall an okay phone with basic functions, however, it is of poor quality and not durable at all. The music player is also not fantastic. It is not easy to find a song.

I think,around rs15000 in india one may buy a nokia n79 instead of this ! which is way ahead of this phone including wi-fi....

w760 is a very good phone if it works...ya i had all the problems what others r saying bt after replacing d motherboard 4 d second time it is working properly !!though it freezes and shuts off automaticaly sometimes but hey i love it and d best 4me i have used n81 w580 w910 w705 and dis is better ofcourse if it works !!..and my w760 is working..touch wood..

My phone W760 is beautiful, no problem, very good.

I have been using this Phone for about a year now and im making a sincere request to whoever is thinking of buying this phone PLEASE DONT !!
It hangs up , restarts , freezes and yeah the mother board might need to get replaced .
the place where u insert ur headphones and charger , becomes so loose it ACTUALLY comes out !! not kidding
PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE
