Got dissapointed with the phone and SE support...had to return it back...:( SE are great phones, but lacks lots of features that other phones can offer, so until they won't go with S60 - won't be looking that side...I want to be able to download apps and use them the way I want, not the way manufacturer intends me to use them...
Now looking for either Nokia N85 or Samsung Innov8...hope won't have to return whichever I'll go for...

I was disappointed with the W760i. I purchased the phone and had to replace it 3 times during the 2-week exchange-policy warranty. Several issues from freezes to bluetooth failures and random resets. I ended up having it replaced for a Nokia 5610 XpressMusic. Although there's no HSDPA I'm free from freezes, failures and resets so far. It's odd that although both are based on the S40 platform, the firmware is so faulty on the SE model.

I've had this mobile for a month now. Previous mobile was W580i. I'm happy with the W760i but I do miss the pedometer! At first I was a bit concerned because the music kept lagging but I have since updated the software (and there is a new update now available)and I'm pleased to say that the music hanging has stopped and now working fine. Also, it sounds louder now. It actually made me jump when it rang as my ringtone was so loud! You need to download update service off Sony Ericsson website and connect your mobile via USB to the pc to get your mobile updated. Easy to follow instructions and it will solve any problems you are getting regarding freezing / lagging. I have a 4GB memory card in mine and already got 732 songs, 174 photo's, 16 videos and still over 1GB memory left! I like the auto rotate function which can be used during gaming or picture/video playback. I've downloaded Google Maps myself as it didn't come pre-loaded, quite useful for finding restaurants, places of interest etc. Sound quality is clear and photo's are decent considering no auto focus or flash! If you like your music, then this mobile is definitely one to go for and if you are having problems with the music lag then please update as it really does work.

ok...let's make this right. Sony Ericsson sound is clear, so it's not like nokia or other brand that it's loud and noisy, the sound is loud enough but clear, you can hear all the instruments in a song, sony's engineering and history in speakers, cameras, software and technology makes SE one of the most complex phone brands of all. I own a black w760, i am overjoyed with it, everything is excellent, sound quality, camera, player, features, perfect in the sony style. "sony.like.no.other."

i got this cell finally after a long long search from usa at usd 350, i am really shocked with the sound quality, its not a kinda walkman series...such a good looking cell otherwise its nothing....i would suggest all who is willing to buy this cell NOT TO BUY, PLEASE...i am really shocked. my W850i was best & better than all other se w series...really
