The W760 is simply a brilliant phone. SE has got user friendlyness to a tee. The only downside is the PC software. Synchronisation with outlook works like a dream, but browsing the phone and exchanging media is a tedious experience.

My model does however more or less reset itself once every now and then. I'll try to update to see wether this solves this problem, and if not contact SE. But even if this issue remains (and doesn't get worse) I still love this mobile.

I wish SE would put in videocall functionality with a new firmware update. Don't mind if it's only video call with the main camera. If they do that I would buy this one.

I got this phone 4 days ago just love it i cant see way people say this phone lags mine doesnt there is nothing wrong with this phone best phone SE made

to whoever has this phone in india or worldwide:
can anyone please tell me how long does wayfinder7 take to calculate a route on your handset?does it give only voice directions or also shows them on the screen?
mine takes 20minutes everytime to calculate a route,gives only voice commands and if i click on the show map option it does not show any map at all. Is this something wrong with my handset or is it common to all handsets? Please advise.
Also in google maps if i click to calculate a route it immediately says "No route found". Its says it so quickly that i feel that it never even tried to search.
Please help me on these two problems.

I just bought this phone some hours ago, and i want to kiss it everywhre, it's awesome it's sound, it's design , just 2 things sony should add on : symbian(even this phone can handle any game made in java) and wifi

ahm.. i think w902 is much better than this phone..

because it has a 3g band ang has a 5mp camera..

After I updated my red W760i I realized that on the walkman for the stereo widening was better. When I turn it on using the speakers, the quality is really good (nice clear sound). When I turn it off, the quality of the speaker disappears but it made my speakers a bit louder. W760 is a really nice phone and also the C702. W760 is the best phone I have ever used from SE. The phone was built with better plastic instead of the really really cheap plastic of the W580i.

This was almost the perfect phone by SE and I was going to buy it, and GPS was really impressive to have. But two things stopped me:

No video call support. I realise there's no front video call camera but some SE's can use the main camera for video call. Why not W760? You will need to slide up to use it but that shouldn't be much trouble. I wouldn't use it that often either but it's very nice to have if 3G is available.

Also, no camera key. Extremely irritating for a 3.2mp camera phone. That was really disappointing.

Shame as this one has an excellent keypad and comfortable keys, which I really liked...

Excellent phone..........
But.........

ear mike problems,which affects other parts in the mobile.
No parts are available in service station.
once if this landed in service station,it is better to sale this phone.
I purchased this phone,but it showed problem after two months with ear mike.
After getting done from service station it worked for two days,and it showed the same problem.

SO,friends,just dont buy the w760i...if works very nice phone...
If it gets failed...Just sell your phone.

i already bought this phone yesterday,
and i happy i bought this phone
so perfect

but the only things i disapointed is the camera oriented cant be portrait.
and no camera mirror on the back so i cant predict where my face when i want to take a photo of my own

the result of the camera photo abit yellow
i duno how to make it more contrast
or izit the default from the handphone that the result abit yelo
and i take the photoshot indoor so maybe it affect the light

hope my review can help u guys !
