if you do not know what 'EDGE' and 'HSCSD' are then do not concern yourself about it. but it is the type of internet connection and speed it is able to do

Paul,
EDGE, 3G , HSDPA, GPRS, are all data connection methods. It means that, for example, when u connect to the internet via EDGE or 3G, or any one of the above, u're uploading or downloading according to the respective speeds of each of them.
I'm not an expert in any of these connections , but the one thing i'm sure of is that in terms of speed :
HSDPA > 3G > EDGE > GPRS
Mind u, however, not all networks support all the mentioned connections, so u shd check that ur phone supports the available network connections (provided by your network operator) before u purchase it.
Now HSCSD ( not to be confused with HSDPA) is a data transfer method, not with networks though, but between phones and computers. (nothing to do with ur network).
Again,I'm not a 100% sure abt my info, any corrections would be appreciated though.

Hi everybody,
I have a question to ask. I live in Canada. We do have now 3g network availible through rogers & fido. The North American bands are 850/1900. European carriers use 2100.However our carriers just bring very basic 3g phones. Could anybody tell me please if I get an unlocked phone like W760 whitch supports all 3 bands will I be able to get the settings from my carrier to make sure the video calling feature will work. Thanks in advance. If anybody knows could you please let me know. Thanks.

been a solid ericsson fan for years because i believed ericsson packs their phones with features unlike nokia. sadly that has changed through the years. no autofocus...no xenon flash, smaller internal memory :( . small things that really affect consumer decisions.

If there is one thing I know SE fans look forward to it is the ultimate phone and its name would probably be 'Cyber-shot Walkman'. With SE's current split plan it seems we have to make do with either a Walkman phone or a Cyber-shot phone. I suggest then if you are considering the SE brand of high-end mobiphone, think first if you want it for Music or for Photography. But nevertheless, make SE know we are always anticipating from them the ultimate mobile phone (3.5G + 5.1 MP camera + autofocus + Xenon flash + Walkman 3.0 + SensMe + Shake Control + Track ID + Compact & cool & functional styling, etc.)

Germans are just TOO PROUD! Remember the time of the Nazis in WWII??
Nokia obviously wanted to make cost-cutting.

i've seen in a video that those two little square looking bottons things on the top of the phone, where the headset is located are gaming bottons.
And yes this phone has buit-in GPS..
I wonder how much this phone will be when it comes out here in Australia. Can someone tell me when they find out?
