Why in the world is this phone SO expensive??? $550 USD?!? Thats just too much for a phone so similar to K750 ($300). Do you think its just becuase this phone is so much in demand??? Will the price drop soon?? =( Disappointing. Even the Nokia 3250 costs less ($460)....

Yo, this phone has everything you need in a phone. Its sick. Just the expandable memory up to 2 gigs is enough to sell the phone. The resolution on the screen is great plus a 2M camera is always a plus. To bad the phone is worth 600$.

Compatible products for Stereo Bluetooth headset HBH-DS970:
Sony Ericsson phones
W950 K790 K800 M600 P990

Does that mean that only the phones above have A2DP support and W810 doesnt have it? pls correct if i am wrong.

For those in the U.S., I called SE because my k700i is being repaired and the representative I spoke with said that the W810 had been delayed until Q2. He did say however that if I looked hard enough I'd be able to find it on the internet even though it hasn't been officially released by Sony Ericsson.

From Wikipedia:

"Bluetooth 1.2
This version is backwards compatible with 1.1 and the major enhancements include

Adaptive Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (AFH), which improves resistance to radio frequency interference by avoiding using crowded frequencies in the hopping sequence
Higher transmission speeds in practice
extended Synchronous Connections (eSCO), which improves voice quality of audio links by allowing retransmissions of corrupted packets.
Host Controller Interface (HCI) support for 3-wire UART
HCI access to timing information for Bluetooth applications.
[edit]
Bluetooth 2.0
This version is backwards compatible with 1.x. The main enhancement is the introduction of Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) of 2.1 Mbit/s. This has the following effects (Bluetooth SIG, 2004):

3 times faster transmission speed (up to 10 times in certain cases).
Lower power consumption through a reduced duty cycle.
Simplification of multi-link scenarios due to more available bandwidth.
Further improved BER (bit error rate) performance."
