bill i said 3.5 mm not inches. but if you think that i meant 3.5mm then you are mistaken, bcos it also came with the w800 and w900

there are several key differences between this and the w800i. the quad band support is huge for those of us in north america and the addition of a 3.5" headphone jack instead of that silly sony one is pretty key as well.
this phone has every feature im looking for and rectifies the few flaws i saw in the w800i. i, for one, cant wait for it to be released

w800 fan and TO ALL- w810 like the w900, like the w800 comes with the adaapter with the 3.5mm headphone jack. on that same adapter you will find the remote control, which also serves as the radio receiver

Deany- this phone is a filler. phone. it fills the gap in the market, fixes things that did not work so well last time, and brings in more money, for developers.
Sony- either 1: contact a SE factory/offices to make personalized mass production deal
2: contact cingular or t-mobile to organize a mass purchase deal
3:contact Sony seller, and see what deal he can make you

ALEX SILVER- price is an obvious. it will be the same start up price as the w800+25-50 GBP. it should be on slae by week2/3 of march
JH- with this phone i agree. let's hope that others realise there is no need to get rid of their w800/k750 to get this phone. UNLESS they have a money back guarantee.
iLVx- doubtful unless 1HF, 1MF, i LF(f=frequency). video quality should not be the smae as w90. but close

why do the keep relesing the same phone with different covers a slghtly better screen and call it a new phone it eaven has less internal memory than the w800 and it will have a more heftyer price tag to.

does the w810 come with the normal w800 adaptor or a remote like the w900?

hehe nice phone but yes. it will hit the market at now.. maybe at a high price? who knows? but all these SE are now the same if you buy the w800i for example and later you see the w810i you may think '' f*ck'' but don't think like that be happy with it, mobile phones are just phones not toys... and besides you throw your money away!
just my thoughts..

mor valued info dare ken2.5 m8, an ye a heard dat dis may b d last w-series fone 4 a while (nt da last) as sony av other plans 4 d end ov d year den wil start 2 push d w-series again after dat az day wil av da credability 2 sel dat brand den even iv day make a flop it wil stil sel as ppl wil remember how gud da curent w-series r.

Pete- the votes is mainly cast before the phone is released,like now. people browse the net to see what it looks like and what it does. they normally use that to rate the phone, then they think of how useable the phone is to make their third rating.thus it is not neccessary for them to even have actually touched or even seen the phone to rate it.
ANSWER2- either they are lying, or they have their sources, or they arephone testers, or they actually were given the phone as a gift from important SE people.
ANDY- not even SE released an official date. all they said in that press release was that shipping will start in Q1 2006. that means if you want to buy the phoneit will be for sale by MAX: 1 april 2006 or MIN:8 march 2006

Loix- the reason why they did not write the phonebook stats, is because all of the main new SE phones have the same phonebook, Call records, messaging stats. so if you lookat the w800/k750/w900/w550 you will find the phone book stats
TheOneDazz- you are right. apparently in some of the reports about this phone, they say this may be the last walkman phone SE makes in a while.(they say the last in the range.
SE supporter- that would be a nice phone ust 2 comments.1- i think that you meant 400mb>(you said less than) and 2- if you have a toucscreen in the phone you will find it is harder to encorparate a 7mp camera and still fall under 140g.
max- i doubt it. just wait till mobile-review.com or gsmarena.com does a review because they always tell you/ complain if you cannot
