Why in the world is this phone SO expensive??? $550 USD?!? Thats just too much for a phone so similar to K750 ($300). Do you think its just becuase this phone is so much in demand??? Will the price drop soon?? =( Disappointing. Even the Nokia 3250 costs less ($460)....

Yo, this phone has everything you need in a phone. Its sick. Just the expandable memory up to 2 gigs is enough to sell the phone. The resolution on the screen is great plus a 2M camera is always a plus. To bad the phone is worth 600$.

GSM arena - we want review !!! this phone seems almost perfect!!! to chris - doesn't have cover on the camera 'couse this camera don't need one - have a little trust on sony ericsson engineers!!!

Does that mean that only the phones above have A2DP support and W810 doesnt have it? pls correct if i am wrong.

i planned to buy this model because it doesnt have the annoying joystick that always complain by the customers~ however, how come there is no cover or lid for the camera?!!! replacing joystick is an easy job but how if the camera get spoilt?! so u guys must think properly before getting this model~~

For those in the U.S., I called SE because my k700i is being repaired and the representative I spoke with said that the W810 had been delayed until Q2. He did say however that if I looked hard enough I'd be able to find it on the internet even though it hasn't been officially released by Sony Ericsson.

U r it baby, i can't find another in ur place 4 now, hold what u've. Hope de ringtones will match de effects, and also de MMC which is up 2 2GB will available in the market 4 upgrading if the need be.

Just 4 seein' dis phone, i've changed my mind, i was about pickin' either K750i or W550 series b4 its release. I think it will suit my needs & interests. I am delighted. Naija here I come.

hey there cruz. i know u r from malaysia, and same here too... since we are talking RM then im easy to know more bout this phone. today i asked time square's sony branch. when this phone coming out, the sales person answer me "Dont know when will be coming out" huh?? i tot it is out in the market ady.. and as u said is RM1899(latest)Well. where did u see that they sell this phone? I hope to get this phone too..

Im soo glad its released. Soon I amma be strutting with my new phone woope. I live in Antigua - thats the Caribbean and I cant wait until my supplier gives this phone to me! :D

can anyone tell me if the ringtone/sms/mms alert tones plays up to d last second of the file especially when a MP3 or AAC file was used as an alert?? (don't tell me SE still did not fixed dat stupid thing of playing around ONLY 10 seconds if u select a MP3 as an alert tone even d file itself is longer...) thanks!

bluetooth 1.2 means not only weaker than 2.0 but version 1.2 means that it does NOT support bluetooth stereo! : ( and if im not mistakin' both of em has d same range (around 10 meters?) d only difference is dat u can connect several devices at same time with 1.2 unlike with previous bluetooth version.

here's d official specs of W810 (it does not even support WMA and eAAC+ audio codes, quite poor for a walkman phone..)

The phone has now appeared on the Orange (UK) website as 'coming soon'. Earlier posting on here suggest it is also in the Orange magazine now as 'coming soon', although I haven't checked yet. I am a little surprised that O2 says the 27th of March as I have read on a number of websites that Orange (+ 1 other network) had a one month exclusivity on the phone with SE around the Christina promotion etc.

Just phoned o2 to upgrade to w810, they are still saying the release date is 27/03!!

looks good but not impressive as the k800 - 3mp and some other better features, also the 4gb se phone looks cool if u want just walkman.

is there really such a bit difference between this and the w800?
