Read the reveiw on mobile-review.com and looks promising. Except for no protection for the camera but other than that a good phone.

I was well aware that Walkman was saying he was disappointed there wasn't a 3.5mm jack on the phone as he obviously just wants to plug his own earphones in - and my reply to him would solve that problem. Not many people know these convertors even exist, so I don't really know why you felt the need to correct me there.
In fact, I see no reason in replacing the K750i/W800i with the new model, if only you need EDGE or the fourth band – GSM850. Other characteristics are comparable and my advice is to wait for the next model. It will provide more improvements including hardware ones. If you like carrying out experiments with software, know that software for the W810i is impossible to install on the K750i/W800i for handsets are physically different. Nevertheless, you can exchange the bodies.
Considering that the model is a renewal, we can say it is adequate and will have a life cycle for about a year. The start price will form 330 Euros, which is 30 Euros more then for the W800i. The product will appear on the counters in the beginning of March (probably earlier).
striker- walkman meant he hoped that there was physically a 3.5mm jack on the phone itself(THE BODY)
oh and thanks for the links
AMH- same to you
Hello again AMH nice to see u back.... cheers for the link by the way good review...
Hello guys, sorry for being away for such along time, but i was up to my head with my projects at the Uni.
Here´s a full REVIEW of the phone down below.
If we're talking spec, the N80 kicks this to hell and back in most departments, but do bear in mind that the w810 will be out around March. Knowing Nokia's suspect announce-release policy we'll be no doubt waiting a lot longer for the N80.
That allows you to plug your 3.5mm phones into your W or K Series. Should work with the W810 too.
They're not identical phones. Check out the specs side by side for yourself. You'll see differences in more than just design. http://www.gsmarena.com/compar...dPhone1=1402
I have been looking for a phone for weeks, and i think that i have to wait for this. I dont want to buy a mp3 player, becouse now days we got phones like these, it still could have a 3.5mm jackplug in the phone, not in the control-thing whatever its called. I'am tried to wait :/
sony ericsson is really weird because they come up with two identical phones in features and functions, albeit different looks. But this one looks better than w800i though. I would choose this over w800i if it's the same price.
ken2.5 Striker dats rite m8s, dats xactly wot I woz sayin, it jus anoys me sumtimes wen ppl waste forum space wiv false info, sony r strong enuf on dare own 2 do music fones wivout da help of apple.
guys it is very unlikely that sony or ericsson would be stupid enough even as an individual company, to invest in iPOD. have you guys heard the news. HP and its associates have (definitely) pulled out of the iPOD franchise, and now it will be only apple iPOD. and to consider why would SONY want to merge with their competition? i mean people buy SONY'z also bcos iPOD is a bit crappy.
Think u could be right, because as well as everything you said, we should also bear in mind that Apple collaberated with Moto with the ROKR E1 (I-tunes support). I'm sure Moto would have plenty to say if Apple sold them down the river by making a top-end model with their competitor so soon after the ROKR series hit the stores.
I'm sure J@ck must have heard this info somewhere, whether it be reliable info or not - surely nobody would just invent a story like that and waste time typing it out......(that is however unless your name is invincible - we remember you Mr Nokia fantasist!!!!!)
hey evry1 bin on da w900 forum b4 an saw dis post frm a guy caled j@ck...........(quote) "ive heard that there is i deal going on between sony ericsson and apple mac(ipod)
that they are making a 32gb simti walkman phone it has a 3 megapixle camera 32gb memory
and memory card option.also many other stuff looks like a samsung d800 crossed with a w900i
.........."(end quote) wel wot do we tink ov dis? al i can say is iv dare woz sumtin like dis goin on tink we wud ov heard bout it b4, also y wud 2 major rivals in da personal music market work 2gethr? sony already make gr8 walkmans etc (i av a 20gb mp3) an se make gr8 camera fones day dun need apples help, so i conclude dat j@ck iz fibin, n e 1 agree?
