It has got the best style & design + best features. It's an Edge version of W850i. Nokia has released lots of slider phones but all are just ridiculous. It's sony's first slider with a bigg Hit!! Sony Ericsson W830i Rocks!!! After its release, no doubt, this is my next phone.

looks cool and everything but why does it have NO AUTOFOCUS for the camera function? Even the 2yr. old w800 has AF... very disappointing

i cannot believe the price on this thing. 16 mb internal memory, 2m camera. essentially what's the extra i get from this? say compared to a k750? RM1800 in msia...that's abit too rich for my blood i guess. Might as well wait for the v3 maxx, i say.

hi all,
i dont feel se phones are flop in their design. its only them who introduces new designs.only they have swivel phones(w550,s600).go and see z310 z610etc.and finally the slim one is announced. see w880. its 'w'. and finally who can compete se s multimedia yaar.. just think the company tat was formed in year 2002 is now the main rival of the grandfather nokia...why???

unbeatable camera clarity

good applications

but theres one thing missing fashion !!

motorola and sony ericsson are the total opposites !!

motorola has all the fashion and great looks but lacks features!!

No wonder SE is not getting enough from the market and the buyers,looks the same as w850.

Also SE K790 and K800 looks the same,most of the SE phone looks the same with almost nothing new.

This phone has been perfectly designed for the South East Asian market. We dont need 3G here, but EDGE is now being introduced. This is a very good handset. The only thing it is missing is autofocus :(
Anyways, a very good work by SE. Keep it up.
I am waiting to buy this once it is available. I hope the price isnt too high.

the 850 had 3G and the 830 does not. but the 830 has EDGE and the 850 does not

this one doesn't have a 3g while w850 has one..
3g is where there's another camera in front where you can use it for you to see the person you are calling or when your taking pictures you can see yourself by using the 3g and video too..
