sony ericsson have 3 main types of fone
w series is purely walkman with some other decent features
z series is general all rounder basic
k series is the camera range with some other secent features

This is one phone I am looking forward to getting. Quite an attractive phone but it is a shame it does not have WLAN connectivity.

I emailed SE direct as I was fed up of getting nowhere with the shops and the networks. They state that the prosposed release date is September 06. Roll on!

Yomama track ID means that you can record a song that you heard from your radio and send the record to a station or something and in a few minutes they will recognise your song and send you a message writing the name of the song that you heard

2MP camera is dissappointing. Design is good. Actually, design is awesome- eye catching, different, all the good stuff... but yeah, with 3.2MP cameras making their move on the market... its disappointing that sony ericsson didn't mash all the features together to get a supreme mobile phone. Here's to hoping they change the specs at the last minute (or at least release a W-series phone with a 3.2)

well, i heard this phone will come out in a month or two in the US, but the k800 camera is definitely better than this.

for pricing, it will probably start off at the $650 range and after a few weeks go down to around $450-$550 range. this is in USD btw. Even if this phone does not have autofocus it is good for taking action pictures since auto-focus has a delay and is not useful for action shots. I think that this phone is a "must get" it has all necessary features and in terms of design, its probably one of the best
