Do not buy the the w800!I am NOT a NOKIA fan but i think that you ppl should consider buying another phone like k750 or k800 if ur rich & stuff.The w800 doesn't have speakers.I had a friend who had w800 and had to have surgery because he used to plug in those headphones religously to listen to music.

this phone is the best walkman phone i had ever used. it is abt 400 to 430 euros and will release after july it consist of 1 gb memory card.

What is it with Nokia fanboys having nothing better to do than go around bad mouthing phones they obviously don't own. If Symbian is so great why are several mobile phone manufacturers getting together to collaborate on a Linux based phone OS? You say they best cam they come up with is 2MP but show me where Nokia beats this? Apart from this phone most SE phones have auto focus and flash which is more than can be said about Nokias.

wats uo with sony ericsson they re jus repeatin the same crap over n over
w 700 w800 w810 w900 w 950 yes they may hav edgge or 3 g which their counterparts may not each have but theres nothing neww the best cam they all come with is 2 mp sony ericsson needs more diversification how bout a walkman with symbian not been touchscreen My opinion nokia is currently leading the mobile market!

Why don't these idiots(SE) make an all in one phone... They want you to keep upgrading phones!!! Rip Off. This is a sweet phone but lacks quad band, which the 810 has. No autofocus & lens cover which the w800 has.

Ha why dont you give a full review about Autofocus.I currently hold w800i and think this dude will be more stylish and a good performer.

i currently have the original walkman phone (w800i) and it has to be the best phone i have ever had. my contract ends in august so i hope this phone will be out then becasue it looks amazing and i am betting that it will be even better than my current phone!!

if u go on the carphone wherehouse website whether it is .com or .co.uk go on coming soon and it shows the sony ericsson w850i is expected to be released in the shops near the beggining of july :)

received email from Sony this morning as I really want this phone but it is not out until September, but my contract ends in July, suppose I will have to hang on. hope it is worth wait.

Sony Ericcson DO make symbian phones other than the P series - W950, M600, M608 all run off Symbian v9.1 and will be released this year.

this new sony ericsson phone looks awsome i hav seen this phone compared with the sony ericsson k750i and it is just about the same saze wich is a good thing because the k750i is a nice sized phone. of course the w850i will be bigger when the phone is fully open but that doesnt make that much of a differance in its size because the phone is still a good size so all i can say to sony ericsson is GOOD JOB :)

its a very nice looking phone for sure. But there are too many drawbacks for a phone thats just about to hit the market and seem as the eventual successor to the glorious w800i. The W800i wins on everything! This phone lacks auto-focus, as well as a lense cover that previous SE 'W' series phones had! Whats with SE!?
