No point for SE designing such a beautiful phone while still using the same old 2Mpix camera & without any smartphone features. Yes, design plays an important role but sooner or later u will be boring with it.

i'm not a fan of any particular brand, but i find SE phone are really better looking than the nokia, also nokia's delay tactic is really a stupid idea and make people lost interest in their latest phones

this phone can't compare with anything nokia will be bringing out, not the n73, not the 6233. why is se still bringing out phones with qcif video reolution, and what is up with the 40 polyphonic channels. soory this phone falls way short. go nokia.

Man you just love Nokia, dont u? Man they didn't copy, design looks different, and you know what if it is a slide-phone - that doesnt mean that they copied that from nokia.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SE is simply the best, this phone looks amazing and has nice features, i hope it will come out soon and will be at a nice price!

FAST FUN FACT:

I think I'm the first to say this. This was used in DVC by Robert Langdon(he borrowed it from a passenger).

Notably, most of the phones used were SE phones. Now that's what you call a cheap publicity stunt! I wonder how much SE paid to get this phone advertised in the DaVinci Code?

Anyways, the phone specs are good, but not great.

hi this phone is rellay good hope SE do not delay it like p990 never released and they had announced it a year ago design is cool they need to release more phones as nokia has released n91 n80 e61 e60 etc but i like se the best

this is great looking phone.i like it then n91 or n80 or other nokia phones.its features r also nice.here someone dear say its not good desgine b,coz it is 70,s.i am so sad to read these comments.really it is very nice phone then others.dont become stupid.pleeeeeee.thanks.good luck SE for Next Beautiful Cells

nice phone needs more memory though when you get a phone this xpensive you dont want to still buy more memory .Brilliant design love the looks good slide up phone

It ain't that big at all - it's a tiny bit bigger than the Samsung D600.

The exact dimensions are 98x47x21mm

welll another marvellous creation of SE.dis fone looks awesome nd looks like a modified fone out of all da W series.sony u ROCK!i jus wanna no wats da size of dis fone looks a huge one but still im gonna get it.....

Allan - Yes it should do as it's tri band, although with a quad band you have better chance at getting good reception in the US

It is a good phone with great features. But I think SE should be able to follow in the footsteps of or improve on Nokia N93 that contains all the features especially Edge. Is this a marketing strategy by SE by making sure one feature is missing in every phone?
They should have also improved on the Camera - 3.2MP is in vogue now.

SonyEricsson is a Great Company!!! I use K750 and it's nice and m so pleased with it :) I think W850 is the best MultiMedia Device and it'll rock the all countires.....What do you need more? It's a Perfect Device!!!!Amazing Design!!!!No Competitors will be I think!!!!! Thanx Sony, it'll be my next MMD phone
