Is this Black Interface is something old that SE is using for sometime? or is it new?
If(since im not sure) its new, then SE are using Samsung's 'Black UI' from e900.

you you're self said NOKIA puts all Features in one phone,lol i dont see why its bad?i think its so great.
N80's Battery is such a powerful thing!what you said about it is not ture at all,as i am an N80 user i charg every 3 to 4 days(max4days)the phone gives you a 27hs of music play back if the phone is working with the plane mode.
N83,nobody knows for sure if its true or not,though i myself heared the news of it but what you should know that there is no way for the N83 to hit the market soon! as i know the N73,N93 will hit the markit in july while N72 in June.after those the company will give another new line of NOKIA N phones.i expect the N83 will be one of the new ones and it will hit the markit on the X-MAS at the end of the year or at the start of the new year.
which gives the N80 user almost a year to feel happy with his phone,and i think N80 is the best of the best EVEN N73,N93 dont really offer as much as N80 offer,though! they are really powerful with camera and Video shooting.

Nokia fans saying this phone sucks in features well fine go to their phones, ther are many reasons why SE didnt make very full featured phones.
1. the phone will get all the profit of other lines coz they have everything. look at what will happen to n92 when n93 will be released. SE make phones in different features so people will have a choice to suit their lifestyle and also it will take less money to them rather than buying a phone that has feautres that they didnt even need. is that money wise?.
2. NOKIA put all features in n93 and a news have spread that n83 will also come? what the hell are they trying to make people regret?
3. You want WIFI,autofocus mp camera. so get the p990, or if not go to the n80 which nokia fans are reiterating that that phone is the best''' well just wait for some months and the complaints starts to bloom. worse battery, lags, etc. i dont even like a smartphone. its like a PC very complicated to use.
for me i dont even like the n-series nowdays. the features gets better but design gets more ugly, they better return to 66xx,76xx or anything like that. it has better design

will this phone work with Cingular or any other phone companies in the US? i think this phone is gonna rock! Too bad its not a 3.2 megapixel camera like the k790a eh?

Im dissapointed....Sony ericsson are putting no effort into there latest fones...all they are doing ts taking similar models are pumping out later models with a different design... its crap....bring out something new

¿¿¿Who says that this phone is the best??? its only a great music phone, isnt a smartphone, if you want the best smartphone at this time go with P990, but W850 is only a MUSIC PHONE. In addition has great slider design, but arent stylish like samsung or siemens sliders, w850 is more sporty and looks nice.

People rate without mind!, the Features rate is so much over rated,i wonder how do people think.

NO EDGE
NO WLAN
NO HSCSD
Polyphonic (40 channels)
fine display but not best!

how in h e l l does this phone gets 8.3 with Features.
Design gets 8.6, NOW thats also crazy since nobody had touched the phone to see or use the slid thing to see if it works perfectly or not.
I dont go by UNreal rating or by stupid comments.true rateing should be giving after trying this phone.
so far, it looks nice.BUT NOT BEST!

first of all this sort of things for example how the phone opens,u cannot say they copied it. So if its like this i can say Nokia 7370 copied W900. So u better shut up

man thats my opinion. i compare this one to 6280 coz it's functionally similar. and i dont care if other SE phones have bugs. coz i am comparing only those two. i dont know why you are so defensive to that phone. i love that phone also. but it's my opinion to say i will prefer to this one because 6280 has many complaints... another is that this phone have better looks...
and also look beter and deeper. which phones have bugs you are telling? w550?z520? in nokia, n70?n90?n91?6280?6270?6111? (those phones can be corected with firmware upgrades) and many more... open your eyes and think deeply before reacting my opinion...ok i dont mean to argue with you im just stating a fact...

I saw the white one on the Da Vinci Code movie. I saw the SE logo but i didnt know what the phone model was then i just saw it here.

do you know that w850 and 6280 has a MAJOR difference?
its just slide which all brands are using .. the navi pad is different ..the menu pad and key pad are different ..plus ..the camera is also not at the same place as the 6280 ..please think before you comment..

you're saying that many ppl are complaining bout 6280.Then u better roam this site.Check all reviews of SE phones.Then u'll come to know which phones has more problems !!

the da vinci code phone! haha. i like the front because it's nice and sleek but i just HATE the back... and no autofocus?! if it had autofocus i'd try really hard to get it but since it doesn't i'll probably just let it go :(

This my first comment on this site well i have been through a few phones in the past i do agree that nokia have lost their touch with the phones they design
I currentely own a w800i and i love it, i didn't want to get an ipod cause i don't like their design the new 850i looks good
but no autofocus in camera is a shame, however Iam sure they will fix this probelm in future w models.
If i wasn't on contract i will get this phone i would recommed it to anyone who is looking to buy a new phone.
Oh i like the flashing light when the music plays its like you got a disco in your hands.
