hahahaha...at last,SE release their 1st slider phone!
the design very extreme and radical but still look nice.....navi key look a lil' bit funny...and keypad are similiar like W550's keypad.....
maybe this is my next phone...hmmmm...

as i am very fussy with mobile fones, im quite impressed with SE new walkman series fones, well done, new designs are great sliding fones kick butt, samsung is still the best...

Well I have used and using sony ericsson W550 & K750, they were Great. Now sony ericsson has launched W850, its look is Dashing, it will break all the records. In Music and Style. I will wait for W850.

i love this phone!!hope it arrives in singapore soon... finalli a 3G phone tt looks nice has good functions and is not so thick~~~ does anyone has a brief idea when will it arrive in asia countries like singapore???

SE dont need to make 3d speakers coz they have mobile destop speaker like IPOD, you think alcatel has better speakers than that?

ok guys, just a bit of sharing here. I used N70 and K750 now, i used to only use K750, but then i got a good offer on 3 in australia so i can get the N70 by paying 10$ per month. I only got one reason why i choose this phone: it is for me to get to know about both companies. As far as i concerned, when i only have K750, i used to think, maybe i need a smartphone because i can put applications and it can be really really useful. Guess what? The performance of N70, is not that satisfying, because i have to spent more money just on application itself. What's more, the display is a lot worse than K750 (although it is more vivid), the music player is bullshit. I try to compare them (through speaker) and i found out that K750 perform 200% better than N70. Whats more, when i play it through the earphone, the quality of the K750 is 500% better ^_^. I dun say this out of my brand-mind, but i got the proof: the earphone of the N70 is unusable, the cable is very hard to control and they got annoying thing in the middle, that makes it really troublesome to use the earphone. To those who know SE's HPM 70 (dunno which one, but i am refering to W800's earphone), it just outstanding. When u put it in your ear, you don't even feel anything nor the cable annoys you (if you know how to manage it, but it is of course easier than nokia's).
When i want to transfer data from PC to K750, i just install the CD then the computer will recognize the phone and i can drag the file easily (without any sort of program), whereas nokia: you MUST install the program. The computer WILL NOT recognize your phone as a hardrive so if you want to transfer anything it has to go through the program. So i conclude here clearly: Sony Ericsson is alot more user friendly than Nokia, believe it or not, that's a FACT and I CAN PROVE IT.
This is my view: Nokia N-series does not provide a quality as good as it is on the paper: smartphone-->you can put applications.. YOU ARE RIGHT!!! all the free applications you can find in the internet are bullshit. If you want more from nokia, you have to PAY!!. Mp3-sux. Camera: so-so. calling? ok. Design? damn ugly. battery? not bad.. it lasts for 2-3 days for standby and a bit of calling and sms and applications (i manage to get the free trials instead :p).
Whereas Sony Ericsson perform at their best everything that they put on the paper. Camera? well.. it's not as good as digicam, but for sure it is a lot better than N70. It serves as a flashlight (believe me it is very useful!! Nokia N70 cannot do this). Mp3 player? i use it on a daily basis for almost 7 months now and it works perfectly, no bugs of any sort nor that is slows down although i put 1 GB memory stick it still perform as if it is put with 64 MB memory stick. Phone call? isn't it great to be able to make a phone call through the best earphone in the world, that can be used as a proper mp3? Application? well u guys know how sux java applications are, but some of the free applications are really useful!!!
My purpose to share this is just for u nokia ppl who feel proud about their company.. look.. UR favourite Nokia is seriously ripping you off!!! You cannot use the phone at its peak without paying even more to the company!! So when i heard about N80, N93, N92 will coming out with WLAN and any sort of things they come up with.. look guys.. the more advance the tech, the more you have to pay. I dun even use the Web browser in my N70, Do you know why? It's because i have to pay 50 cent!!! on every KB!!! that's bullshit!!
So, just be normal, mobile phone is after all perform at its best with calling, messaging, MP3 player (K750 is really really acceptable, you can compare it with Ipod), Camera (although i dun use this as much), flashlight. Trust me, if it is SE's high end phone, they are not gonna trick u, they are giving you their best performance. (SE is damn smart to pick up the music ppl as market, because it really works). Keep up the good job SE! W850 rocks!!
