I've had this phone around 2 1/2 years now. Its fantastic, never broken, turned itself off, or any other problems. Have dropped it etc and still no damage. Battery life is still fantastic, as are speakers and camera
Gets a bit slow when reading through old text's (I'm talking like a year ago text messages).
TIP: The camera can get pretty dusty, use a cotton bud every now and again to clean it.
Best phone by far I've ever had.
Want to get a new phone just for an upgrade though, but am finding it difficult to let go as its so reliable, and most newer phones don't seem to be. If any one has any recomendations it would be greatly appreciated!

1.if youre phone gets slow,, for sure you havent UPDATED youre firmware of youre phone, go to www. sony ericsson.com/support dowload the software updater fron youre computer install it & update youre phone follow the simple instructions,,
2.about youre charger connector,, get a pencil eraser & rub it on the connector, do not use other tings specially metal it will damage the connector & short circuit youre phone,, for safety, turn off youre phone before doing it,, rub it with the pencil eraser until the corrosion on the connector are remove, it will be better if you choose soft eraser,,

HI,Im going to buy a w850i,may i ask,can i ch0ose only 3g signal fr0m this ph0ne?or just dual m0de or 3g and gsm?

I use the handphone w850i now and i feel the song play walkman is very good the speaker,the picture take is good only...

What a piece of phone. Had mine 2 years and like everyone says it has an amazing sound quality, very clear and loud. Lovin da mega bass etc. Pictures and video are great. No complaints. A strong and robust reliable phone. Yep a little on the thick side but maybe thats why it has such impressive dropability resistance ratings. A must have phone, newer ones can't touch it. Previously had a K680i but happy with W850i for some time yet. No need for an upgrade!!!

Ive got one of these and like it alot! i'm quite into the radio feature because the speaker is SO loud! perfect in the park or just chillin in need of tunes. battery lifes spot on and so is the screen quality. takes a good pic but sadly its getting to the back of the bus with s500's and w580i's coming out. hmmmm w850 and w580???? they look similar in name get a bit more creative SE.

got this fone bfore, I used to like it, but aftr a long months, the lights go down,and the flex crashed!!! Grrr! Horrible! please buy, the right phone...

I have it almost 2 years and it's perfect.. I didn't have any problem with it... Only bad thing is stupid connectors that after a while start losing connectivity but that's only one little thing :)

its a good phone cheap body and gets slow after a 18 months . battery life great . camera kewl. the charger connections get like green and fungi

The phone's built is horrible.The directional pad tends to crack,as seen in many cases.And after less than 2 years of usage it has become very very unresponsive.This is a huge disappointment from sony considering the fact that the features of the phone were reasonable.
