a big sony fan i m and this is the best i ever had, attach a lot of memories to this phone untill i lost it in the bus....i just want to say to u w880 i love u n i miss u

I like the design..
I dont care the keypad given hurt thumb or numb :lol:

do not buy i beg and plead wif evry1 of yas do not buy..listend 2 music at night sat it down gently next 2 my bed woke up broken (the charger part) now its completly broke dusnt charge play music speakers broke tap it wif ya fingers nd it turns off...if u want 2 waste 60 to 90 pound or woteva thn just burn ur hard earned mopney i repeat DO NOT BUY

i like the pictures and videos of it,i have a black one,i only dislike the keypad,it fades and it hurts pressing the buttons,but still fine,because it's figure w/c is very slim is very easy to put inside of your pocket

> In reply to eke @ 2009-08-04 21:51 from p3JQnokia 5200 was a great phone back then im a huge fan of nokia xpress music series currently im using a nokia 5800 xpress music touch & a nokia n81 8gb - im not into s.e. walkman series but i would like to help u with ur question . - as far as i know s.e. w880 & w395 both got 2 mp cameras which are slimier to each other . w880 is a bit outdated but still famous and the w395 is a bit new to the market yet it isnt popular like the w880 . from the screen size w880 got the bigger display . w880 is thinner than a cd casing that it will fit right inside ur pocket its slim and sylish - the orange and black color version is perfect it will take ur eyes out but the all silver and black color version of it isnt that cool . w395 is a bit bulkier but will still fit ur pocket also its a slider design so if u like slider phones u will like it . w880 got no fm radio but the w395 does . also the w395 lacks 3g connectivity and no front video caller cam , but the w880 got 3g speed connectivity and a front video caller cam which might become handy for u . prize wise both phones are the same . and as the specs shows talk time is better in w395 but in my opinion it doesn't matter cuz the w880 supports 6 to 7 hours of talk time anyway .
from both - my choice is w880 cuz it got 3g and video calling facility , but if ur gonna miss the fm radio if u think it may become handy w395 is good but u will have to loose 3g capabilities and video calling feature .
from the designs i like the candy bar thinner design of the w880 . w880 wins for me anyway .

i want to buy a phone , because i got a nokia 5200 a year ago , and i'm tired of it .... and i want to buy a new one, and i thought i buy now a sony ericsson phone ... and i don't know wich one to choose : sony ericsson w880i or w395 ... i readed a few things and a few comments about these phones, but i don't know wich one to choose... i don't expect much from a phone, these phones fit to my requirements....i just want a cool phone with good music, wich will not make me nervous

my 2nd s.e phone, b4 this i use w810i.. i like its thin and light body, clear display and sounds although it cant be patch and customize easily, not like my prev w810i.. the thing is, its bluetooth cant be turn on, even im not using bluetooth frequently, but its frustrating especially when i want to send or receive files from others or when i want to use my wireless handsfree. the speaker also not as loud as my prev phone, the camera is undoubtly below average,battery life is to short, keypad is hurting for ones who always messaging, still no standard 3.5mm audio jack(whyy??). but, after all, quite nice phone to use.
