The w880i is a g8 fone. Bt probs startd when it does nt detect ma sim until i remove ma memory card, well dat corrected itself. Den i had probs wit ma games nd applics dey jus kip sayin 'operation failed'. I got it flashd, it workd bt nt perfectly! Then d fone goes off wit every little shock! As little as pressin d keypads too hard! or wen it gets overworkd lyk browsin 4 long hrs! Does anybody xperience dis same probs?. I'm tinkin of gettin d w910 though. Bt minus dis probs. D w880i is great nd i luv it!

This is a really great slimline phone but does have some drawbacks... There's no zoom on the still camera, no light/flash facility. Its too easy to switch the thing off due to poor placement of the on/off switch, the speaker although loud is very 'tinny' and there's no radio on it...!!! How can you call it a walkman phone without a radio and poor loudspeaker? On a good note its much quicker than the K750 and no real software issues that i can find. SE have replaced that stupid joypad with buttons so it does'nt wear out which is a major thing for me.

i've this set and the problem is that walkman volume is too low i did't find any option from their i can up the sound please tell me if any1 knows

i had this phone and i liked it but the buttons are small but i got use to it and the cammer is cool but my phone got scraches easily so yip

Plus W880i is 3G without EDGE & also without radio.
But who cares abt radio until you have the full music library with you.
W580i will giv little less battery life while listening to walkman in comparison with W880i.
Go for W880i its full value for money.

Hey guys the phone is very nice. Better than I had expected.
I hav been using this for abt 2 weeks now.
The walkman quality is superb. Superb means superb.
If you want the ultimate walkman experience then buy HPM-85. I hav bought it myself on the day of purchase of mobile. The handfree HPM-70 which comes along with the pack is nothing in comparison with HPM-85.
Even though HPM-85 looks big, but it does not consume more battery at all. Its just a fraction more. Nothing else.
Even though this cell does not have an auto focus camera, I have got very satisfactory images at just 2MP. Remember 2 keep your hand as still as possible while clicking. Then it gives full 2MP clarity equivalent to that of 2MP cybershot phone. I didn't find any thing wrong with the camera at all.
Its slim factor is its unique feature.
Its loud speaker is a bit low in sound.
But its very loud when connected with earphones at 80% volume with no loss or rupturing of sound at 100 % volume.
That's what walkman is made for right.
The battery life is also great. Lasted for 1-1/2 to 2 days.
Disadvantages:-
It consumes a lot of battery power during calls & plus the scree remains on throught the call.
Its Java.
It does not have photolight.
Overall:-
In all a great phone for music lovers with good camera & battery life & don't forget HPM-85.
