I got 1....very cute phone...so far I have used about 2 years...& no problem for me....

Hi. I have been using this phone since 2007 and i have realized some positive and negative stuff in this phone, the positive things are the intelligent software from sony (as always) and the cool style and the light weight and the shortcut button and the long life battery and the high quality headphone sound... But the negative things are: 1.Small Screen.
2.No FM radio.
3.Speaker too Low.
4.No Flash light.
5.Uncomfortable keys.
6.Unable to record a video neither take a picture in front Camera.
7.Headphone not loud enough.
8.No W-LAN.
9.No Auto-Foucs.
10.Unable to zoom in [2mb] and [1mb] pic size.
11.Stupid voice control key.
12.Very Bad Digital Zoom in camera.
13.No Optical Zoom.
14.the annoying internet button on the keypad. *u can avoid the accidently internet connection by simply applying a user name and a password on the internet connection

Dear All,
I have a problem with the coverage of this phone. Even if there is a tower within 200M also so it is saying "no network connection".
How can i solve this problem? Please let me know.

I've been using this phone since October, 2007. W880 is a nice phone. i love its design so much. but the software is not so good. its not a big deal, i just love it! :)

It's fair to say that it is now obsolete in many respects and there are a few manufacturing faults.
1) The silver coating on the buttons wears off revealing white beneath.
2) The tiny screen, at 4 cm by 2.5 cm, was designed way too small for surfing the internet. It is quite cumbersome to zoom out of web pages and at 80% zoom out you stretch the limit in terms of visibility and readibility of web pages. The internet connections are often slow.
3) The inner glass screen collects microsopic dirt very easily.
4) Finally, the microphone is appalling bad as well as the speakers.
5) Other phones generally have larger screens now (disregarding touch screens which I think is a massive design fault because it isn't intuitive, slow to respond, and the screens on those phones can easily crack).
6) The phone has a tendency to switch itself off beyond standby rather unexpectedly - even if the battery is well charged.
7) The phone has difficulty handling java applications such as Google maps, with a distinct time lag when using these applications.

Well....this is pretty well .....it is very useful..and I love it so much...,but the thing that make me a little disappointing is this phone no EDGE cuz i can't search web and download so fast on my PC and No radio....!! Anyway it's not bad at all..!
I'm very proud to use it ....now i still use until it broken ...lol anyway this phone is cool....and awesome ....! PM me if u can give me some advice ...!

this fon is xtremly sleek & suprb......best picture quality,head set clarity is awsome,HIGH SPEED FUNCTIONALITY,....nokia wil never come anywhere ven compared 2 "SONY ERICSSON"...........JUST GO 4 SONY ERICSSON.....MIGHTY AMONG MOBSSSSSSSS............
