I just bought an used W880i. Some guy cheated me :S.
The speaker is not in function, the microphone is bad, you can hear me, but I must yell for that. The cover is producing sound because it is broken on several places, and also it's scratched. I opened the phone to see can I change the microphone and speaker, but all those thing are on one same cable connected, so I must buy this cable which includes camera,microphone,speaker etc. (costs a lot of money). I prefer Nokia phones because you can change the microphone or speaker without experimenting with the cables...................

This phone is awsome!!!!Its slim n sleek! I hav had it for 12months now and no problems. If you're looking for one of the smallest 3G phones out there...this is it. Thousands of cool themes also available. Keypad takes some getting used to at first but turns out to be more user friendly than expected. Cheers!

i just bought w880i. i have problem with the message alert. i set mp3 song as my message alert tone. when i received sms, the song just play i think just 10 second then stop. everytime it happens like that. can anybody help me with this problem. i want my message alert tone to be played full although i don't press any key

I've enjoyed trouble free usage of this phone for the past 18 months. I've got big hands and type texts while I'm driving without looking at my phone once!
I love the size and was willing to make some sacrifices.
3G reception is bad in my area so video calling is out, but I'm on the internet and gmail everyday.
A few small comments:
The USB data cable connection is very badly designed and does not make contact anymore. PC and headset, does not make contact anymore. Luckily my charger still works. I would prefer small usb on the phone.
I want to assign different ringtones for different profiles, but can't.

The w880i is a g8 fone. Bt probs startd when it does nt detect ma sim until i remove ma memory card, well dat corrected itself. Den i had probs wit ma games nd applics dey jus kip sayin 'operation failed'. I got it flashd, it workd bt nt perfectly! Then d fone goes off wit every little shock! As little as pressin d keypads too hard! or wen it gets overworkd lyk browsin 4 long hrs! Does anybody xperience dis same probs?. I'm tinkin of gettin d w910 though. Bt minus dis probs. D w880i is great nd i luv it!

This is a really great slimline phone but does have some drawbacks... There's no zoom on the still camera, no light/flash facility. Its too easy to switch the thing off due to poor placement of the on/off switch, the speaker although loud is very 'tinny' and there's no radio on it...!!! How can you call it a walkman phone without a radio and poor loudspeaker? On a good note its much quicker than the K750 and no real software issues that i can find. SE have replaced that stupid joypad with buttons so it does'nt wear out which is a major thing for me.

i've this set and the problem is that walkman volume is too low i did't find any option from their i can up the sound please tell me if any1 knows

i had this phone and i liked it but the buttons are small but i got use to it and the cammer is cool but my phone got scraches easily so yip
